Amazing stay

We had an amazing stay! The architecture of the hotel is beautiful with lots of attention to detail. The food is very good, we had nice snacks at the bar and a great dinner at the restaurant. The atmosphere is welcoming, staff is friendly and helpful, and the beds are super comfortable. I loved the spa here! I had the Hungarian Moor Mud therapy with an amazing therapist. Tunde was very professional and also intuitive. She knew exactly where to focus and what to do to make me feel relaxed and comfortable. I would highly recommend her!

Checking in was very easy. The hotel staff was incredibly nice. They provided excellent service. All expectations were met and exceeded. I highly recommend staying here at this beautiful hotel.

The location was great, opposite the famous chain bridge. Other than that frankly it’s not worth the money: it’s our last night at Budapest and we upgraded our room for the view of the bridge and the Buda skyline so the room costed three time as much as the superior room in Anantara New York Palace (where we stayed previous two nights ) yet the quality wise is at par at the best apart from the view. It’s five star no less but not exceptional compared to others. Having said that the hotel did try to provide a good experience for guests. It was our anniversary so the hotel prepared a beautiful dessert with a heart on it and a heart shape by red flower petals, which is very nice. When we got in our room my partner tried to use the coffee machine but it didn’t work so we had to call the housekeeping to get a replacement. The coffee pots are great but no milk/ cream - you have to call to get it, which is not what you expect from the Four Seasons. The staff of front desk were friendly enough but not as warmly and diligently as those at Anantara. Perhaps the lobby area in Anantara is so grand in contrast the lobby area at Gresham Palace though very Art Nouveau but the scale is nowhere near something called palace. Also the lifts are decorated very dark which is opposite of welcoming. So be prepared for the underwhelming feeling when you step in the entrance.
Surprised by the not up to standard sofa.

Room side ok but some furniture needs updating. Sofa and chairs look cheap.

Maintained in impeccable cleanness is yet with a charm of historical building. I enjoy every minute of stay the staff was very professional, helpful, willing to accommodate the majority of my request. The food was great in the restaurant and in room service.I highly recommend to stay more than couple of days , since the atmosphere is so relaxing . I am looking forward to come back there

Wonderful stay at the Four Seasons Gresham Palace. I was able to purchase an upgrade to and even better room with a spectacular view. The room was super clean and cozy. Service was 5-star and the food was amazing. I did not want to leave and look forward to going back again!

Most probably the best service in the world.

While the four seasons chain is well known for their "over the top" service, this hotel and staff take that concept to a new high. their attention to detail, and their true talent at delighting their customers to the point of making each one feel like royalty is truly breathtakingly incredible. they blew us away. this experience is incredible, and a real gift to humanity. thank you. it probably goes without say that the hotel is stunning, perfectly located, rooms incredibly comfortable, public areas are an experience of their own, and Spa services are a true delight, probably the best i have experienced anywhere in the world. this was my second stay, so i can say that this was not a one time luck - they have mastered the hospitality concept and turned it into a science. well done!! we will be back, for sure.

Like the city, this hotel is gorgeous. It's historic glory, location and ambiance make it the best hotel in Budapest. What's more, the service was impeccable. A special thank you to DENNIS, the manager of the KOLLASZ restaurant. He was professional, engaging, helpful, funny and relatable. Incidentally, this restaurant is a gem, and this city is full of amazing eateries. Also. Chelli, the sommelier. Of course, I'm sure I didn't spell her name correctly, but I hope whoever is reading this, knows the young woman I'm writing about. Oh, and also the woman who brought my wife ice to our room for her blister (bring walking shoes!) There are even more interactions I can describe, but these 3.stand out. A beautiful hotel is nothing more than a shell without the people behind it. I highly recommend the GRESHAM for anyone staying in Budapest. My wife and I know we will only stay here for our next visit. It's hard to imagine another girl topping our experience.

The concierge service was terrible, not what you expect out of the four seasons. The flat out refused to help us book museums at Buda castle, stating we would be able to book it when we got there. We walked there in the snow and when we got there and tickets were sold out.. Really disappointing. We notified the staff and then actually helped us book tickets to parliament. They had said previously said we had to call them at 7:30am on Saturday morning. They gave us the wrong times and told us we had to be there extremely early so we ended up waiting outside for ages and could have had a much more relaxed morning.

I travelled with my niece . Beautiful hotel and perfect location . Not very intimate the bar area feels like you’re in a shopping arcade . Spa very expensive and very small . Bit disappointing. I would stay again re the location and food
