Staff was friendly. The room had a musty smell to it. I had to leave the window open to keep the room cool. You may have to ask the reception for the remote to AC, but i didnt see a AC unit.

This hotel is a basic accommodation. It's not glitzy or glamorous. It provides a safe place to stay, in a residential area, it has basic facilities.(😊) A bed, pillows, TV(1uk channel) a good shower pressure and hot water. Bed was clean, towels very thin.The breakfast was incredibly disappointing and wouldn't bother with upgrading. (Nice coffee n pastry shop 5 mins away). Access to transport was good, and 10 minutes walk from Margaret Bridge.( Uphill on way back🙄!!!)Staff were courteous, albeit I didn't interact or need help during my stay.Expect basic and you'll be happy. I personally wouldn't return, preferring to be more central next time. It served it's purpose and I enjoyed the city. I'm returning home pleased with my time away

1. Air conditioning was not cooling - room was stuffy. Feedback to the male receptionist and he was insolent in his response to the point of telling customer off that we just have to accept the condition. He was totally unhelpful. 2. Bathroom shower gel not replenished. 3. TV not working.

THIS PROPERTY DOES NOT HAVE WIFI! Pros: Clean room, mostly modern (except dilapidated bathroom). Quiet neighborhood. All but one (kitchen) staffer had very good English. Cons: NO WIFI! No fruit, orange juice or real butter at breakfast. Breakfast offerings did not vary at all over eight days. Dilapidated bathroom with broken shower head and rusted mirror. Property is at the top of a steep hill. Review: This property has no wifi! They will insist they do; they will even give you a network name and password. And you will then spend the rest of your stay watching it endlessly connect and drop. This was true not just in my room but also in the breakfast area and the hallways, with constant attempts on two different devices. Management may try to be legalistic about "no wifi" versus "no usable wifi," but will that make your frustration any less intolerable? If you have any need whatsoever for wifi in your room, then do not stay here under any circumstances! If you will be relying on public transport (which is VERY GOOD in Budapest), then just be aware that you must go down (and then return back up) a very steep hill to get to and back from the nearest streetcar (S-bahn) stop. Bit of a bummer at night or in the cold (or carrying bags or groceries or a pizza or...). Staying at a low-end property (which this definitely is) always involves an element of "you get what you pay for." But I definitely DID pay for wifi and didn't get it. So there you go...

I have stayed at this hotel several times over the past two years and have always been very happy with the accommodation and service. Polite and helpful staff. Great value in a good location in Budapest.

Older guy was very very rude. He didn’t want to hear any questions something. Hospital was horrible. They asked to me city tax additional which was not shown on expedia even I already paid tax. I use many times expedia and all hotel showed to me city tax while I was booking but paid in hotel. Once i asked again how much the price, the guy attitude was not acceptable at all. Location of the hotel is not convenient and towels are too small. Rooms are old and not clean well. Definitely not recommended at all. Stay in hostel instead!!

Eine günstige Übernachtungs-möglichkeit, Personal freundlich , Frühstück war klein und bescheiden , aber von allem etwas da. Zimmer soweit sauber kein grosser Komfort aber für mich bei diesem Aufenthalt auch nicht wichtig und hatte völlig seinen Zweck erfüllt . Für 2-3 Nächte würde ich es wieder buchen

Déplorable.

Je ne parle pas l'anglais la personne a l'accueil ne m'a jamais aidé, je suis restée 5 jours le lit n'a pas été fait une fois , seul chose ils vidaient que les poubelles, le dernier jour je partais à 7heures j'ai bu qu'un jus d'orange, dans la chambre moitié moquette moitié parquet et le petit déjeuner très juste pour 7€.

Bed uistekend Redelijk centraal gelegen. In 5 dagen maar 1x schonen handdoeken. In 5 dagen maar 1x vluchtig gepoetst. Bij aankomst al Kalk op de kranen. Erg verouderd allemaal. Ontbijt was echt matig, echt heel droog brood 1 geluk er stond een broodrooster! Wij hadden een goede aanbieding, dus prijs/kwaliteit viel het niet helemaal tegen! Er stond een bordje 126,- voor 2 pers voor 1 nacht, dan had ik gevlucht! Groetjes, Jacqueline

Alles gut!

Wir waren auf die durchreise deswegehen haben wir nur eine Nacht übernachtet. Dafür war es super ok. Parken auf die Straße gegenüber ist kostenpflichtig und sicher! Habt immer Münzen dabei oder lädt die App runter!
