Great for a one night stay, and everything was decent. It is a little far away from the city center for walking, but there is public transportation close by. Room is very large with a decent sized bathroom. The staff was great, and was able to help us with questions we had. Check-in was quick. Noise level, you can hear the interior hallway movements and people closing their doors, but overall minimal disruption.

Family vacations 2022

I made the reservation through hotels.com and everything was very good. Our stay at the Ibis Hotel was excellent, we arrived on a Wednesday afternoon and left on Monday. All the staff are very friendly, good breakfast with different options for everyone. The people at the reception gave us good information, including restaurants, one was “Menza” and the other was “Barack & Szikva”. Budapest has Great public transportation (M-Blaha Lujza Ter) near the hotel and it is very easy to get around, I recommend buying the metro card for the days of your stay.

It is a basic hotel if thats what you are looking fir then hrs fine. Unfortunately our air con was t working in a hot room. We opened the window but then got bitten a lot by insects coming through - in autumn! They do not provide a kettle which is something ti be aware if if you like a hot drink in the morning! We had to travel in and out to get to the main spots as it was a little out of the nicer areas. It was okay, comfortable and clean.
