The Woodland Cottage was absolutely perfect for my stay, so very very cozy. It was very clean, communication with the host was great. My dogs and I were very comfortable there and would definitely stay there again.

The Woodland cottage was perfect for our stay! The house was tidy, comfortable with great amenities. The host was incredible too. It was really convenient to take our son to the VMI open house. It was really close to Main Street and the town was amazing. Perfect place to wind down and relax after a long day exploring.

Perfect! Everything was exactly as advertised! Two nice sized bedrooms with a nice bathroom in between. The entire property was spotless and the kitchen had everything anyone might need. We were visiting family in Lexington so it was a little drive (less than 15 min) to get there daily but the drive is very pretty and the property is worth it being a little out of the way. We will definitely stay again.

Overall we had a great stay. Everything was clean and taken care of. I will say that I didn’t take into account before that it is a very old home and we had a couple bug issues. But that is the nature of Virginia. Especially spiders in the porch at night, but there isn’t much you can do about that.

1 night stay during road trip. House was great, everything you need. Yard a little small for our dog, but we were able to walk her around the neighborhood. Since we were only stopping thru, didn't see much of the area, but the mountain views walking around were stunning. We were there during a heat wave, but house was cool and comfortable. Appliances are top notch, kitchen very well stocked. TV viewing choices were best in any VRBO we've stayed in...every channel/premium channel you could ask for! Stop at Food Lion on your way in- you wont want go back out after you settle in! Thanks, Michelle!

Very nice and clean place to stay while visiting my son at W&L for a few days. It was about a 15 minute drive to W&L but easy to do. The two rooms were perfect for our group of 3. The larger room had a bigger bed and plenty of space. The smaller bedroom had a desk which was perfect for working during the day. The jack and jill bathroom was spacious and clean. The kitchen had a small table for 4 and all that we needed - refrigerator, oven, stove, microwave, toaster, and Keurig coffee machine. I baked cookies with my son and we got to hang out at the house for a few hours together which was nice for a change in scenery. There was a small living room area with a couch and leather chair in the corner, good sized TV. My mom used the washer and dryer and said it was very convenient to have in the house. In summary, a really wonderful place to stay and communication with Michelle was top-notch. Highly recommended!
