Lovely property and rooms in a charming location. Very comfortable. Enjoyed the continental breakfast. We also had our evening meals at The Ship which were absolutely delicious. The staff were helpful.
Great location, spacious room clean and comfortable, would have been five stars however the breakfast was free however disappointing, there were alternatives close by.
Would certainly stay again.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
There's lots to like about The Ship Inn. Great location, characterful rooms, friendly staff, great bar and restaurant food. There's clearly a concern for good ingredients for the bar/restaurant food. So why not for guests who are staying overnight? The local bread served in the bar is fabulous - so why serve cardboard bread for breakfast along with cheap, sugary yoghurt and cereals. Weak coffee from coffee bags? We stayed 2 nights and didn't bother stopping for breakfast on the second day.
We had a lovely stay at The Ship Inn. The room was really clean, bright and comfortable and plenty of space to relax in. Nice to have good quality coffee and tea facilities in the room and reasonably priced items on offer in room if you wanted it. Loved the roomy shower in the bathroom. Staff were really friendly and helpful (helped find a taxi). Food in the bar was excellent, and the main menu looked great (we will try next time). The continental breakfast was a prefect start to the day. Thank you.
The property was lovely, rooms were very hot as the weather was extremely hot but all rooms had fans so it was fine. Definitely stay again. Lovely staff and very friendly. Food was excellent.
Staff friendly room clean and tidy bed to low for two old gits would have loved a full english

We ate lunch and everything was delicious. Room nice, big and clean. The only critic would be to invest in a mattetess topper as springs could be felt.
Our stay at the Ship Inn was lovely - the rooms are perfect, the bed super comfy and ear plugs are provided for any noise from the pub downstairs (which we did not find a problem at all). Breakfast is continental but very lovely and we had a really nice stay. Also ate at the pub and would definitely recommend - all staff lovely and food really really good (and nice cocktails too at a good price!)
We had a one night stay because of a local wedding so decided to stay overnight at the ship inn.
Not disappointed at all. The staff was all polite bedroom clean food good..
Breakfast was continental with a selection of cereals & oats yogurts.
I was delighted with everything and would go back again no problem 😊
