"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding Stay at The Owl Hotel I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Owl Hotel, and I can honestly say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The staff were absolutely fantastic—friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything we needed. Nothing was too much trouble, and they really made us feel at home throughout our stay. The food was excellent, with a great selection and top-quality dishes that were clearly prepared with care. Every meal was thoroughly enjoyable and well presented. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, providing the perfect place to relax after a long day. It’s clear the team take pride in keeping everything to a high standard. Overall, a brilliant stay with a warm, friendly atmosphere. I wouldn’t hesitate to return and would highly recommend The Owl Hotel to anyone looking for great service, great food, and a comfortable stay."

"Plenty of parking. All facilities were available (pool, spa golf etc) at an extra cost but I didn't use. Room looked out on to a brick wall and outdoor plumbing, but I assume this is because I didn't book directly with the hotel. Grounds were immaculate but not visible from our room. Didn't have breakfast so cannot comment but it smelled good!"

"I stayed for two nights. The room was comfortable and yes the furniture was a little dated in it but it didnt matter as I was out most of the time. Bathroom was good. I had a meal in the bar area and I was well looked after by lovely staff. Meal was tasty, hot and came quite quickly. I used the swimming pool and sauna plus an early morning pilates class. Everything was good. I suppose an available timetable of what was on would have been useful and it being made clear what was included for guests. Everything was included. Breakfast was very ordinary but I am sure people would find things to suit."

"We returned to Ye Olde Bell to celebrate our Silver Wedding Anniversary having held our wedding reception there 25 years ago. It did not disappoint! Whilst it has been updated it still feels comfortable and retains the character it always had. From the moment we arrived the staff were brilliant; friendly and helpful, they went above and beyond to cater to my special dietary requirements, providing soya milk for the room, as well as offering to amend dishes for our evening meal. Our room was spacious and tastefully decorated and the ensuite was large and well supplied with toiletries etc. The room was also quiet, despite facing a road. Our evening meal was lovely, as was breakfast. The breakfast was freshly cooked to order. We enjoyed our stay and trip down Memory Lane immensely and can recommend Ye Olde Bell."

"Car park is quite a distance away. Then reception isn’t with the hotel, I was distracted and tired and missed the reception as I saw the hotel first, headed to that, couldn’t get in and then asked in the bar Reyes Pinter me back to the hotel entrance, it wasn’t u til some other guests arrived that they Pinter out the reception back towards the car park. Annoying when it’s raining as they are not next to each other. This needs to be made clearer. Room was ok, a little more than a travelodge if I’m honest.room was actually cold, with solid floors and was woken up by people walking around in the room above. Who needs to be walking around from 2-5am!!! Breakfast was ok, told to sit anywhere, yet the tables weren’t made up, no cutlery or condiments, all other tables had dirty plates and hadn’t been wiped clean. Would I stay there again? Maybe if little or nothing else was available, I go somewhere else if in the area. "
