With seven cosy bedrooms, a bright and airy lounge and an extensive garden with a luxury hot tub, you'll feel right at home here. The location is ideal for countryside walks, while also being perfectly placed to enjoy the historic sights of Lichfield Cathedral, spa days at Hoar Cross Hall, family days out at Trentham Gardens and accommodation for weddings at Alrewas Hayes. The space Venture into the entrance hall where you will find a crackling wood-burning stove and a country-style kitchen to the right. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you should need including two ovens, a dishwasher, a fridge/freezer, a coffee machine. Once your delicious feast is ready to enjoy, gather around the 4-seater island and 10-seater table to wine and dine together.
Off the kitchen is a delightful sunroom with a pool table and patio doors leading out to the extensive back garden.
To the left of the house, there is a bright and elegant living room with three sumptuous sofas, an inglenook fireplace and a large projector screen with surround sound system. There is a cosy snug lounge with log burner. A real bonus is the basement cinema room that is ideal for movie nights with some buttery popcorn in hand.
Upstairs, there are seven stunning bedrooms, each uniquely designed and complete with soft linen sheets. There's a super-king-size bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, two king-size bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, a further king-size bedroom, a double bedroom, a single bedroom and a twin bedroom. All bedrooms without an en-suite will have access to the shared hallway bathroom.
Outside, you will have access to a beautiful garden with plenty of seating for alfresco dining, courtesy of the gas BBQ. When the temperature starts to drop, climb into the large hot tub for a dose of relaxation. Additionally, there's an outdoor barn with logs, table tennis, dart board and table football. Guest access There is a lock box which you can access on arrival. Sustainability We plant a tree for every booking we make to help offset some of the carbon emissions generated by our stays. Hot tub: As the hot tub is emptied, cleaned and refilled after each booking, we cannot guarantee that your hot tub will be at its optimal operating temperature upon arrival.
Deposit: Bookings are subject to a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the booking value plus applicable booking fees with the balance payable 70 days before the date of travel.
Accidental Damage Deposit: To maintain the highest standards in our properties, guests will need to pay a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £500 prior to their stay. An advance payment as detailed in the booking summary can be made to waive this requirement. We have had a fabulous stay for our Sons Wedding at Alrewas Hayes.The accomodation was magnificant for us to be able to host the Groom and the Groomsmen and partners - we could not have asked for more. It was comfort & luxury personified.The owners kindly accomodated our requests and the house was brilliant for activities in a lovely setting.The surrounding area is very pretty, with canal walks and a nearby local pub.We can not recommend Sandy Hill Farm highly enough.Candice & Martin
Excellent facilities and nice little welcome touches like some snacks and fresh eggs. Family-friendly and very well equipped and the layout meant we would keep an eye on little ones easily. We had one issue during the week and the owner sorted this for us quickly and without fuss. Decor is beautiful! Good central location: plenty of attractions within 30 minutes and a canal junction with pub, cafe and a nature reserve within 5 minutes walk.
