The Loft at Peake’s Retreats. Cute cottage +private hot tub

Perfect for a romantic getaway, The loft is a small cottage annexed to the main farmhouse located at the Peake’s Retreats glampsite in a quiet countryside spot just outside of the quiet village of Anslow.

The loft consists of a beautifully decorated bedroom with superking size bed, smart tv and cuddle chair with views out over the glampsite on one side and over the Staffordshire fields on the other.

You can find soft fluffy towels, Neals Yard products and optional robes in your bathroom, and downstairs is a small but perfect kitchen with fridge/freezer, oven, plug in portable 2 ring induction hob, table and chairs and Nespresso coffee machine.

Outside enjoy your own private fenced off area with bistro table, chairs and private hot tub. Guests in the loft also have access to our large Finnish BBQ hut where you can grill all year round or just relax by the fire.

On sunnier days borrow one of our small portable BBQs and enjoy one of the seating areas on our glamping field.

Just 13 miles from Alton Towers, 35 minutes from Ashbourne; ‘the gateway to the Peak District’, and 10 minutes from historical village Tutbury there is plenty to do in the local area including lots of quiet countryside walks, and we are happy to provide inspiration for places to eat or visit.

Most of our guests also enjoy a visit over the road to Church Farm tearooms and petting farm, ideal if you don’t fancy cooking breakfast or fancy a spot of lunch.
