Great Place Fabulous Location
I've stayed here a number of times because it has a great location for seeing the Peak District. Everyone is friendly and service is great. Don't expect a palace as this is a well loved and well used place.

A building of character in a beautiful setting. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was tasty.

Good value sand amazing views
Was good value if we ignore the leak which I trust was linked to a dodgy plumbing job conducted the day before.

great basic comfort
lovely spotless and nice location. Very little wifi or phone reception which is either a bonus or a drawback depending on your view. Beds very comfy

The room description said it had private bathroom and shower but it is not true. Ideally located hostel
Nothing negative to say at all. Ideally located to explore Buxton/Bakewell and surrounding areas. Would recommend!
