"Rosemead House is an unexpected hidden gem in Esquimalt. Exceptional customer service from all staff members the moment we arrived, the thoughtful and elegantly appointed rooms and grounds seamlessly mixing the old with new, and food that will rival the best of the best anywhere...Rosemead House was the restorative and inspiring holiday we needed. We were able to leave the car our second day, and make the short walk to West Bay where we hopped on the water taxi to downtown Victoria, it made exploring a breeze. Already planning our return!"

"Staff were professional, friendly and gave helpful suggestions about the area. Nice to have an open air loung in the front of the building to sit, relax and enjoy a night cap after a long day. Room was comfortable and clean. I would give it a five except there is no A/C but they did have a tower fan in the room (wisper quiet) that kept the room around 22 degrees. It also helped that the window opens BUT our room faced the water and that same bar was street level below us so with window open you hear it and road noises. By midnight it was quiet. It was not a big deal cause we were in bed around 11pm. You will likely see a lobby cat hanging out, cute and friendly. I would stay here again but may not if hotter summer months (we went mid June). "
