"Beautiful house that suited our group. We had a lovely time and particularly enjoyed the pool and tennis court. One thing, the bedding configuration section advertised that one of the living rooms had couches that made 4 beds. In reality, one living room had 2 couches and the other had 2 couches. This was problematic for us as we were expecting to put three teenage girls together."

"We had a fabulous stay at Marina Waterfront! The house is amazingly well equipped and impeccably clean. Everything you'd need in the kitchen, a real home from home! Airfryer, electric frypan, rice cooker, dishwasher, coffee machine, washing machine and dryer. All bedding and towels provided. Beds are comfortable and aircon in every room was a bonus. View of the marina and swimming pool were awesome. The ensuite toilet and a cistern filling issue and the owner came out on Easter Sunday to fix it...couldn't ask for anything more! We hired a car and it is about 20 - 30 minutes from the CBD, with Smithfield shops close by.Recommend 100% and would book again in a heartbeat. "

"We had an amazing stay, very clean and modern space The area was lovely and quiet. We had a car and it was a quick drive to Palm Cove & Trinity Beach. Staff were very attentive. We especially loved the bbq!"

"1st was the code to get your key i was in flight when it was sent to me and was unable to view my email next the wifi is absolutely terrible not only in the resort but even out at the restaurants. Last was the lady that came out to give us the key was pleasant but when we left she walked right past us (and yes she did see us) and said absolutely nothing.. I guess that is how they treat there clients that are paying there salary"

"The beds were so old and hard, my husband slept on the couch and I slept on one of the kids single beds instead. The noise in the apartment was terrible, you can hear everyone in the stairwell and the footsteps on the floor above. There were also conatantly flies everywhere, even with all the screens closed. For the prive we paid I expected alot more. I will say the pool area is very family friendly though, which we enjoyed."

"Excellent communication, easy check in process, very responsive to requests (allowed early check in and made up the sofa bed for us), house was beautiful and exactly as listed. Only things I would add/change would be a bread knife and larger chopping knife (trying to cut sourdough and watermelon with the small sharp knife was tricky) and maybe a larger amount of laundry powder (to be fair we did a huge amount of laundry as a family of 7 using the pool daily and with teenage girls changing outfits eleventy billion times a day). Oh, and clingwrap! We would stay again if we were in Cairns for sure."

"We had a fantastic stay at Mountain Breeze Retreat. The home is beautifully designed with gorgeous furnishings, stunning views, cool breezes and a well‑equipped kitchen. Everything was spotless, the beds were super comfy, and the pool was a standout — crystal clear, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing. The hosts were wonderfully friendly, gracious and helpful when needed, and their sweet little poodle made the stay even more special. We’d return in a heartbeat!"
