The hotel has been newly refurbished. It is in a great location opposite the harbour, walking distance to shops and restaurants but in the quiet end of town. Staff are very friendly. We'd stay there again.

I love the location, right on the Esplanade and a short walk to the CBD with numerous dining options. The view over the harbour is amazing and there is plenty of on site parking. The rooms are spacious with small balconies

This was our 9th trip to Cairns and the first time staying at the Cairns Plaza Hotel, which is by far out favourite place to stay now. It is located in a quieter end of the esplanade which we really enjoyed but still well within walking distance of downtown Cairns. The hotel was very clean, staff were exceptionally helpful, and the room was comfortable and very spacious.

Clean central family friendly

Staff very friendly, helped us check in early. Hotel basic but very clean and centrally located opposite the playground and near multiple restaurants and the aquarium. Also only 10 min from airport. Good family stay location in central Cairns, would stay again in transit for a few nights

We enjoyed the location - handy to boardwalk, Muddy’s cafe and lagoon nearby. The room was very big and the bathroom very small which had a skin breaking doorstop positioned next to the WC. The bed was very comfy and aircon worked well
