"Room was beautiful and an oasis to return to after a hot day. Beds were very comfortable and view from balcony was amazing. Balcony could have done with more than just 2 chairs. Food at Baja Brewing was mediocre and margarita was undrinkable. Breakfast was great at Aleita with beautiful beach view. Beach club area was poorly managed. We had to ask several times to get towels, and it seemed to be a hassle for the staff to find vacant beach loungers when we asked for them (we did use the reservation service once which worked well). I would recommend this location."

"I would have given it a perfect 5 stars but the bartenders would not customize my drinks to my specifications. They cited having to follow their own recipe for inventory purposes. I loved their mezcalitos and margaritas. But their daquiris and pina colada were not creamy or sweet enough for my American palette. The best part was how cold the air conditioning was in the 6 bed dorm room. Not even the mall (undergoing construction) was as cold. Please make sure to wear sunscreen (especially on legs and feet) as I got heat rash/sun poisoning towards the end of my 5 day stay."
