"A little piece of heaven. Very close to the Corcovado National Park, you can walk there. Everyday we would go on a hike, as soon as you walk out of the hotel you start seeing monkeys and all sorts of wildlife. Heck, you don't even need to leave the hotel. We had a group of scarlet macaws constantly hanging out in a tree right outside our room. And a brave little monkey paid a visit one day as well. The food prepared by Chef Coco was amazing! Everything was sourced locally and made from scratch....

"This is a lovely place, but I can't give it a great review because on the day we checked-in no one was available at the hotel to answer the phone. Answering the phone when you have guest traveling from out of country, and to a very remote location is standard basic custom service. For whatever reason we could not find our email confirmation the day we were scheduled to arrive and we called and called for 5 hours straight on a Saturday between 12noon-5pm and no one answered the phone. "I really enjoyed staying at Cabinas Golfito. I had a flight early in the morning, so I just walked to the airport which took less than 10 minutes. Host was extremely nice and helpful. I would definitely stay again! "
