The COVID-19 outbreak may have changed how we travel, but it hasn't stopped our passion for exploring. Here are a few tips on how to deal with travel's new challenges:

• Find out if any travel restrictions apply to your origin and destination before locking in your flight. Also check if there are any special conditions you'll have to follow on arrival, such as taking a COVID-19 test.
• When you go through airport checkpoints, do not remove your face mask. You will be required to briefly lower it for ID purposes. Travellers who refuse to wear a mask may be denied entry or boarding.
• You're no longer required to hand your boarding pass (electronic or paper) directly to a TSA officer. Rather, you should place the pass on the reader and then hold it up so the agent can inspect it.
• One liquid hand sanitizer container is now permitted in your carry-on baggage. It must be no larger than 12 oz (350 ml), and you'll have to take it out of your bag at the X-ray machine for screening.
• Empty your personal items from your pocket, like your wallet, coins and keys, and place them in your carry-on rather than the bins. This will minimize handling during the screening process.
• If you're taking food through security screening, put it in a clear plastic bag and then into a scanning bin. This lessens the likelihood that a TSA officer will need to touch your carry-on bag or food container for closer inspection.

As people start travelling again, nearly all airlines have implemented social distancing and other similar measures to help lessen the spread of COVID-19. Here are just a few examples:
