We had the odd luxury of staying in every room due to an unexpected extension in Potenza and the warmth and kindness of the owners and the community surrounding them during our stay here exceeded any expectation. "This was a lovely old hotel with perfect attention to detail. We had dinner there both nights (area is quite remote) and were not disappointed. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. If we are this way again we’ll definitely be staying again. "

It is a beautifully preserved example of Norman architecture and we felt very privileged to stay there . Gisela is a very responsive and helpful host who provides lots of information about restaurants and places to visit locally . "I liked the look of the Marchesina Hotel. Very spacious, easy flow, lots of areas to sit, Our particular room, a little needy for traveling tourists with suitcases and places to hang toiletrybag, towels. I would say a little upgrade is needed in respect to tourists needs in a oom."
