"The apartments are fine but very expensive for what they are and the facilities eg although there’s a lovely terrace there are no loungers. The price was 1 to 2 higher than nearby apartments that offered more. On arrival our balcony doors didn’t lock. We called and someone came to check but we had to sleep feeling unsafe. "Salou is a VERY hilly town. A lot of people encouraging you into bars and restaurants it gets exhausting.
The hotel itself is EXTREMELY basic. Incredibly clean but you have to pay for everything including full size towels. You have to clear your room including any rubbish but staff are friendly and to be fair to the price you pay its perfectly acceptable "
"The Blaumar has everything you could possibly want for a quiet relaxing family holiday. I’ve been here twice in the last year with different ages of kids and adults and it caters for young and old. "This hotel is beautiful. The location is really nice right on the beach with nice walks nearby. There aren’t many bars or clubs directly around the hotel which suited us but may not suit other people. The hotel is immaculately clean. The entertainment team are lovely and full of energy. They organise activities like aqua fit and tai chi plus games by the pool during the daytime. There was great entertainment each evening like Flamenco dancing and Cuban bands. The bar staff are really lovely. They always have a smile on their face, especially Antonio who is really friendly. Nothing is a trouble for them. The restaurant staff are also very pleasant and professional. There is a reasonable choice of food. Sometimes it is not very hot but there is a microwave to heat it. Two chefs do food to order and that is nice and hot. Usually burgers, hot dogs and stir fry’s. "
