"This is a beautiful home, and the hosts have paid great attention to every single detail. We were met at the door with the key by Nadine, who showed us everything we needed to know, and had even stocked the fridge with a few treats. The furnishings are lovely and comfortable, kitchen was very user friendly. And the outside patio is gorgeous, with a fantastic view. The area is very quiet and it’s a short downhill walk to the sea. Everything you need is available and accessible a short drive away. Host went above and beyond to help us with taxi service to cruise ship terminal in Marseille, and communication was easy and efficient. Highly recommended!"

"The location, garden and views are amazing. We noticed in other postings that you need to take care of a very nice cat. This includes cleaning the litter box. A binder of instructions, including how to care for a cat, would be very helpful. Overall we had a wonderful time and loved being so close to the sea and hiking trails."

"Stunning location in Carry le Rouet with 3 basically private beaches five minute walks away. The only issue is that getting into Marseille from this town is a complete pain (bus to train that only runs 3x a day) so if you don’t want to pay 40 euros for an uber be prepared to transit over an hour. Otherwise the neighborhood is very protected and clean and close to a couple restaurants right by the beach. Besides a small ant problem, the actual room was perfect for the price and had everything we needed. "

"Shocked by the state of the building and the appartment, it is clear that no investments have been made for a very very long time. Entrance dirty, wooden railing rotting. Kitchen and bath terrible. Some cheap new furnishings cannot disguise the extremely bad condition of the appartment. Wrong place of air conditioning.The terrace, facing the ocean, in hot temperatures not usable (late afternoon) because there is no shading available. Iron railings are rusting, plant pots bursting.Oversell, luxurious is a strong word for what the reality shows."

"very clean and functional property, lovely large terrace with great views over harbour. Felt very private. Sliding doors to terrace from kitchen-diner and bedroom were a real plus. Lovely plants to the entrance. We found it a bit of a haul up from car park to property with a suitcase. Bus every half hour during the day from the bottom of the road could be visited using public transport though no local shops. Don't forget your sheets and towels!"
