A Great Spot Downtown Calgary

Great spot for doing things downtown. We were at MNP for the weekend with Family for an event and it was perfect for us.

Lacross trip

We had a wonderful time staying at this place. The host was very responsive and easy to communicate with. The apartment is very cozy and extremely clean. We were very pleased overall and appreciate the chance to stay here.

Great Location

This was an amazing apartment in a great Calgary location. The instructions were clear from getting the key, to parking and checking out. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful

This was one of the best VRBO experiences ever. The condo was amazing and spotless. Plus the little details like a first aid kit was amazing (kiddos needing bandaids). The walk to the saddledome was so convenient with a 5.5 month old and a 4.5 year old. I truly hope to stay here again!

Simply Amazing!!!

Communication and check in was a breeze. Bit of an adventure but I had a blast locating the lock box. My family was wondering what I was doing, I just smiled and said “come with me”Once we got to the room it was so clean and the view was the best. Will stay there again. Thank you Mike and Pauline.

Stay for Country Thunder

We came to Calgary for Country Thunder & LOVED this place for its close walk to the festival grounds & country theme :) We would definitely recommend to family & friends and we’ll be looking at booking it again for next year!

Beautiful getaway

We loved this suite overlooking the stampede! It was within walking distance which was awesome and the property is so beautifully decorated it was very authentic! Would definitely stay here again and the communication with the owner was fantastic! Thanks for making our quick trip to Calgary most memorable!!!

Fantastic Calgary Experience!

We came here with our teen to check out AUArts and Calgary as a possible city for university. We were pleasantly surprised by both Calgary and our wonderful stay at Mike & Coleen's place. The suite is exactly as shown in the photos: brilliantly decorated, thoughtfully stocked, comfy beds, relaxing space, close to great restaurants & Cafes (ZCrew Cafe - a must try!), easy to access, in walking distance to downtown and the C-Train, and right next to the Stampede grounds. Being located directly above Cowboy's Casino, the loud dance music thumps a bit until the wee hours of the morning so if you are a light sleeper, bring some ear plugs and a face mask to block out noise & light. If you're an early riser, you'll be delighted by the incredible morning sunrises as the views are breathtaking! We recommend checking out the fun 17th Ave, Inglewood and Kensington neighbourhoods for restaurants & shops. Would hands-down come again!!

Comfortable Place to Say

Units is as shown. Appreciated the short walk downtown. Much better than a hotel room. Be mindful of parking as the owners parking stall is not large. Opted for secure underground parking stall in the building for an extra $20….. would stay here again.

Good stay, no communication

We stayed for a total of two nights. Location was great for what we were in town for. Check in process was not seamless. Tried to contact host by message and calling with no response at all. Directions were given to locate the lockbox that holds the key but the lockbox description was not accurate. We spent entirely too much time trying to figure out which lockbox was the correct one. Again, no response from the host when we encountered problems so we eventually tried all the lockboxes on the fence until one worked. It was a stressful situation. The unit was small but served our needs. Although I wish there was some notification that this unit had no blackout shades. The windows are floor to ceiling and the sun woke us up entirely too early. If they don’t plan on installing black out shades/curtains, there should definitely be a disclaimer. Or maybe a note to potential clients to bring sleep masks. We checked out 2 days ago and still have not received a call or message back regarding issues that we tried to address privately.

Great Place to Stay

The condo is very clean. The decor is fun & tasteful. It was a great place to come back to sit and relax after being out and about all day & evening. The kitchen is very well equipped, though we didn’t do any cooking during our short 2 night stay. The bathrooms very nice, clean & modern and all the little extras were perfect. The only con about the condo was the window coverings in the bedrooms. There is no sleeping in. The bright sun coming in made it very hard to sleep. Some sort of blockout window coverings in the bedrooms is highly recommended to help with the light and the heat. We had very easy communications with the owners. Would definitely stay here again.

Good Times

Three of us stayed for 2 nights. The views were great! Def awesome to wake up to.The place was clean and tidy. Had everything we needed. Location was good. We were able to take the train into the city. Communication with the host was quick and easy. Overall we all had a blast.
