Het was wel werk om de handleiding van het kookplaat te vinden. Er is bijna geen warm water uit de keukenkraan. Voor de rest was het prima.

Der Pool war das beste Highlight dieser Immobilie. Selbst jetzt im Januar waren wir oft zum schwimmen im Pool. Er ist sehr groß für einen Privatpool und hatte eine angenehme Temperatur von 24- 26 Grad.

Leider sind wir von der Wohnung sehr enttäuscht. Sie ist kalt und feucht. Heizung gibt es nicht. Möbeln im Wohn- und Küchenbereich sind altbacken und es ist ungemütlich. Im Wohnbereich gibt es Klimaanlage, welche aber nicht regulierbar ist. Im Badezimmer ist der Waschbecken undicht, in der Dusche läuft das Wasser nur sehr langsam ab, Handtuchtrockner ohne Funktion. Im Schlafzimmer keine Heizung, die Sachen waren immer klamm. Der Garten und die Aussicht sind schön. Es gibt sehr viele Hähne in der Nachbarschaft.

Nice view and pool area, but the apartment is a little outdated and there’s a strong humidity smell. We had to run the dehumidification function of the AC constantly to keep it under control. Also, the owner is a bit unusual (some might even call it cheap) as they don’t provide additional trash bags for the small kitchen bin, so we had to buy a roll of 50 bags for just a 5-day stay! On top of that, there was very limited silverware and glassware — we were only two people and still had to run the dishwasher almost every day. I can’t imagine how it would be if you rented it for three or four guests.

Das ist eine tolle Unterkunft an einem wunderschönem Ort.Der Garten ist richtig schön, mit tollem älterem Plfanz-/Baumbestand.Der Pool ist einfach der Hammer: groß und tief genug.Der Ausblick ist atemberaubend.Ein Idyllischer Ort.Wir hatten Glück, dass die obere Wohnung frei war und die Leute aus der 2. Wohnung kaum da waren.Wir hatten das Anwesen mehr oder weniger für uns alleine.Preis-/Leistung stimmt auf jeden Fall.Man braucht unbedingt ein Auto.

Absolut ruhige Lage und 1a-Aussicht

Wir hatten bereits im Vorfeld eine sehr gute Kommunikation mit dem Eigentümer. Auch der Kontakt und der Check-in mit Rosa liefen perfekt. Die Informationsmappe und die Restaurantempfehlungen des Eigentümers waren sehr hilfreich. Wir konnten jeden morgen gemütlich am Pool frühstücken und die Aussicht auf den Atlantik genießen, einmal sogar mit Walbeobachtung. Das Bett war sehr bequem, wünschenswert wären allerdings Insektengitter für Bad und Schlafzimmer. Für viele Wanderungen und Ausflüge ist Arco ein prima Ausgangspunkt. Unsere Aktivitäten haben wir meistens am frühen Nachmittag gestartet, obwohl bei vielen Touren empfohlen wird früh los zu gehen - aber es ist ja sehr lange hell. Insgesamt haben wir uns sehr gut erholt!

Nous avons passé un séjour actif et riche en découverte à travers visites et randonnées.L'appartement était parfait, nous avons été très bien accueilli par Rose et la communication en amont avec Martin a été parfaite.La piscine était très agréable en fin de journée sur la terrasse où la vue est magnifique sur la mer et le village de Arco de Calheta. Toller Pool, tolle Aussicht und ruhige Lage

Wir haben unsere Woche in der Casa Oliva / Wohnung Vista Mar 1 sehr genossen und haben uns prima erholt. Der beheizte Pool mit Meerblick war ein Traum, die Wassertemperatur lag noch bei 26°C und wir hatten zudem das Glück, fast die ganze Woche allein in der Anlage zu sein. Unsere Wohnung und die ganze Anlage waren "picobello" sauber. Ein großes Dankeschön an Rosa, die die Anlage pflegt und uns eine gute Einweisung und wertvolle Empfehlungen gegeben hat. Das Bett war sehr bequem und die Ausstattung der Wohnung war in Ordnung. Wir kommen voraussichtlich im Frühjahr 2026 noch einmal nach Madeira und werden dann gerne wieder diese oder die benachbarte Wohnung Vista Mar 2 buchen.

Top Lage, gute Ausstattung, kleinere tierische Probleme

Das Appartement liegt wunderschön und ist exakt beschrieben. Wünschenswert wäre vor allem Insektenschutzgitter im Bad & Insektenschutztür im Eingang. Ansonsten hat man Abends nur die Möglichkeit alles zuzulassen oder man teilt das Appartement immer wieder mit Stechmücken & Kakerlaken (Hat NICHTS mit der Sauberkeit der Wohnung zu tun! Die leben einfach in den Beeten). Die Verwalterin vor Ort, Rosa (sehr gutes Englisch) macht hier einen sehr guten Job. Die Mikrowelle scheint defekt zu sein oder wir konnten sie nicht bedienen. Dank Backofen konnten wir Reste der Restaurants (die Portionen sind fast immer riesig) trotzdem aufwärmen. Es liegen viele nützliche Informationen in der Wohnung bereit und auch der Kontakt mit dem deutschen Eigentümer im Vorfeld war sehr gut und hilfreich. Zur Anfahrt empfehle ich als Ort Arco da Calheta oder die PLZ + Straße einzugeben. Ansonsten leitet Maps ggf. völlig falsch. Zu guter Letzt: Grundsätzlich fürs erste Mal Madeira: Übt Berganfahren am steilsten Hügel den ihr zu Hause findet. Ansonsten kann es hin und wieder problematisch werden :-)

Traumhafter Blick aufs Meer

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön, der Garten bzw. Terasse und Ausblick traumhaft und die Lage perfekt, um Ausflüge zu machen. Dafür sollte man hier unbedingt ein Auto zur Verfügung haben. Die Gastgeber geben sich sehr Mühe, dass alles passt und man einen schönen Aufenthalt hat.

Ruhige Lage mit tollem Meerblick

Großzügig geschnittene Wohnung mit tollem Blick über das Meer. Beheizter Pool, der auch schon im Februar zu nutzen war. Die Küche hat leider bereits die besten Jahre hinter sich. Teilweise wurden Geräte ausgetauscht. Die Microwelle dient aber nur noch zu Dekorationszwecken. Für das vorhandene einsame Weinglas haben wir im Supermarkt noch einen Partner erworben :-) .

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub in der Casa Olivia - Vista Mar 1! Die Anreise war etwas holprig, weil wir die Wohnung nicht gleich gefunden haben, aber Dank netter Einheimischer, haben wir mit Rosa Kontakt aufgenommen und sie hat uns sofort abgeholt, zur Wohnung geleitet und super freundlich empfangen. Die Spülmaschine war kaputt und beim Backofen kann man die Einstellung nicht mehr lesen, aber sonst lässt die Wohnung keine Wünsche offen. Der Pool und die Aussicht sind ein Traum und bis auf den sehr ambitionierten Hahn in der Nachbarschaft ;) ist es wunderbar ruhig! Toll, dass es solche Urlaubs-Oasen gibt! Wir kommen gerne wieder!
