"We arrived after a long day of driving, and the staff at the front desk were so friendly and helpful, especially Cheyenne. We had enough time to put our baggage in our room and go to the bar restaurant for a late supper, which was very satisfying! The hotel itself is quite beautiful and old. Our room was clean and modern and stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. And the bed was like sleeping on a cloud! It was so comfortable. If you’re staying in Bakersfield, this is the place to be."

"The hotel was very nice and in a good location close to restaurants and other attractions. The only thing that I would critique is the pool. There were no lights for an evening swim or dip in the hot tub and then the pool itself was full of leaves and trash."

"Pool areas were beautiful. The property grounds were well maintained and clean. The suite was pretty nice but deceiving when booking. 2 bedroom suite had only one bathroom which is very inconvenient for more than 2 adults in the suite. When I booked it, that wasn't clear. Other than that, it was a positive experience and I would go back but be a little more questioning when booking."
