"This hotel may not have a pool or hot tub but this is a hotel that is spacious and would be ideal for extended stay with a basic kitchenette, even a 2 burner cooktop. No oven but everything provided for extended stays. Spacious room, and bath, it feels like an mini apartment. The bed was wonderful, and in short....I would return in a heartbeat. Very reasonably priced for the accommadations!"

"Just loved this darling place! So quirky, from the display of rocks to the cool pictures. Beds were very comfortable.Only deterrent were the steps to access the apt, but we soon became accustomed to the trek.Calumet is a historic town that appears to be revitalizing, so it was wonderful to be within walking distance of the museum, coffee and bakeries, quaint shops, and above all, very friendly folks."

The directions for entry were straightforward, and the home felt serene and private for our stay. The hosts were very responsive to communication with questions or recommendations for our stay. "We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful place. Loved waking up to the sound of the lake, the comfy beds, the living room with all the sofas was perfect for relaxing. Kitchen was well stocked. Loved the backyard with access to the lake and the fire pit was perfect for watching the sunset while we sat around the campfire."
