Villa in Pontemazzori with 3 bedrooms sleeps 8

Nestled in the tranquil hills of Camaiore, this splendid villa is the ideal place to experience an unforgettable stay in Tuscany and by the sea.

The Outdoors:
The fenced park and private pool overlook a breathtaking panorama of rolling hills, inviting you to relax in the delightful poolside gazebo, equipped with a table, chairs, and sun loungers. The large, well-kept garden offers the perfect space for moments of peace and conviviality. The patio in front of the villa, equipped with a barbecue, is the ideal spot for outdoor lunches and dinners, surrounded by the scents of the countryside.
The villa opens onto a wonderful space designed to fully experience nature: an 8x4 meter swimming pool (depth 1.40 m) perfect for cooling off on summer days, a garden of approximately 1,500 square meters with olive trees, fruit trees, a children's play area, and a large shaded patio with a large table and barbecue for convivial moments al fresco.

The Interior:
This portion of the villa can accommodate up to 8 guests in 3 double bedrooms and a sofa bed in the living room.
The 240 square meter interior exudes all the authentic charm of Tuscany. The structure, built of stone like ancient farmhouses, exudes a warm and refined atmosphere, perfect for immersing yourself in the local culture.
On the lower level, a raised basement with tall windows, is a living room with a large sofa that converts to a double bed and a smart TV; A private bathroom (with window, sink, toilet, bidet, and tub/shower combination), the property's second fully equipped kitchen, and a laundry room with a washing machine, dryer, and storage space.
On the ground floor, access is gained from the covered patio, either through a door in the entrance hall or through a large window into a large, fully equipped kitchen with a dining area, a table for 8, a fireplace, and a storage room. The ground floor also features a cozy living room with two sofas, a fireplace, a smart TV (Netflix subscription included), and a bathroom with a window, sink, toilet, and bidet.
On the first floor, there is a double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom (with window and shower), the master bedroom with a large dressing room and pool view, a double bedroom, and a large bathroom with two sinks, a toilet and bidet area, a bathtub, and a shower.

Comforts:
The villa is equipped with every comfort: air conditioning, heating, two smart TVs, a dishwasher, an oven, a microwave, an air fryer, a toaster, a coffee machine (Nespresso with pods), and a moka pot. A bathtub, a shower, a barbecue, two fireplaces (the one in the kitchen is decorative), and much more are also available for a worry-free stay.

Our Opinion:
Ideal for families or groups of friends, the villa is particularly suited to those seeking a mix between sea and mountains or an active vacation: the area offers wonderful cycling routes and the option of renting (for a fee), allowing you to experience Tuscany through sport, relaxation, and authenticity.

The nearest bus stop is Marlborghetto, about a 5-minute walk from the address. Several intercity bus lines (E2, E15, E27, E34, E43) stop here, connecting Camaiore with Viareggio, Pietrasanta, and Lucca. Alternatively, along the same street there are also stops such as Gattarella, served mainly by lines E15 and E34.

If you're arriving by public transport, we recommend:
Train to Viareggio or Camaiore Lido/Capezzano Pianore (the main stations in the area)
Then take a bus to Camaiore (lines E2, E15, or E27) and get off at the Marlborghetto stop, which is a short walk away.

Public transport connections are quite frequent during the day, with the first buses leaving around 6:00 AM and the last around 8:30 PM. However, since these are intercity lines, it's always advisable to check the updated timetable.
In short, the property is well-connected yet surrounded by greenery: perfect for those seeking tranquility, with main services reachable by bus and a short walk.

Camaiore and the village of Pontemazzori are located in a beautiful valley between the Apuan Alps and the sea (10 km away). The area is one of the most complete in Tuscany, as in just a few kilometers you can go from the sea to the mountains, from historic villages to the wildest nature.

The Via Francigena, which connects Camaiore to Lucca (and continues to Rome), passes right next to the villa. Enjoy your trip!
The nearby Versilia beaches are of fine white sand, some with beach clubs offering umbrellas, loungers, swimming pools, bars and restaurants, others are free to use amidst the dunes scented with strawberry trees, pines, and broom in the Migliarino-San Rossore Pinewood National Park.

Camaiore's historic center is a small medieval gem, perfect for strolling through narrow streets, churches, and authentic squares. Just minutes away is Lido di Camaiore, with its long sandy beaches and well-equipped beach clubs, ideal for relaxing days at the beach.
For nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts, the Apuan Alps offer spectacular views, hiking, and cycling trails through olive groves and woods. Among the most unique experiences are the Grotta all'Onda, a prehistoric site accessible on foot, and places like Candalla, perfect for hiking and swimming in the streams.

Nearby are also numerous typical Tuscan villages, such as Monteggiori, Casoli, and Gombitelli, where time seems to have stood still and you can discover local traditions and typical products. Furthermore, the nearby cities of Lucca and Pisa offer a unique historical heritage; the Renaissance walls of Lucca can be explored on foot or by bicycle; the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa.
In short, staying in this area means having the sea, culture, nature, and gastronomy at your fingertips, with the opportunity to enjoy a different experience every day, between relaxation and discovery of the authentic Tuscany.

The main attractions in the surrounding area are:
- Pisa: Piazza dei Miracoli and the Leaning Tower.
- Forte dei Marmi and Pietrasanta (known as "Little Athens"): art and entertainment.
- Lucca: the city of 40 churches, surrounded by 4 km of perfectly preserved walls.

Review for stay from 30 August 2025 to 06 September 2025

Lovely villa in a quiet and green area, perfect for a family getaway. The property feels private and spacious, and we really enjoyed the garden and outdoor dining area. Inside, the house is well equipped and clean, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The atmosphere is very authentic and gives you a true Tuscan experience. The only thing to consider is that some parts of the house are a bit rustic, but that’s also part of its charm. Hosts were very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We would definitely consider coming back.

Review for stay from 09 August 2025 to 16 August 2025

Review for stay from 04 April 2026 to 11 April 2026
