"Be prepared for a very low budget hotel. Arriving late at night it seemed like an unsafe area of town. The front door of the hotel was unlocked but I walked in and there were no humans in the lobby, I checked in through a computer kiosk with a live human on the screen who was somewhere else in the world. There is no elevator. We were asked if we were OK with a third floor room by the lady on the computer screen and I told her we were but I did not realize that meant no elevator. A woman traveling alone with three children I did not feel safe until we were in the room and the door was double locked. Once inside the room everything was clean. But it felt so strange that anyone could just walk into the hotel at any time because the only person monitoring the lobby was on a computer screen and not on the premise and I worried about my car in the parking lot getting broken into. Then at 5:45 in the morning the curtains did not do enough to block out the very early morning sun and then the power went out at 6:10 in the morning so no more sleeping in. The power did not come back on until 8 AM and by then we had all gotten ready in the dark. There was staff up and moving in the morning and they seemed very friendly but where were they the night before?"

"Check-in was a kiosk in the lobby, it was a translation service and service was choppy. The kiosk was directly in front of the service desk and it was staffed with another individual. The room was clean and orderly, everything I needed for rest was there and I appreciated the in room dehumidifier! The toiletries provided were tiny (not enough to wash my long hair with) but that wasn’t a deal breaker for me as I already had my own. Parking was challenging as it is a single entry/exit lot and we were in a large moving van, the area designated for oversized vehicles was full due to later check-in. Overall, would stay here again in the future when traveling."

"The hotel was ok. My room had a partial hole in the wall from the door knob. The tub had an ugly patch on the front wall where a hole or something had been. The bed was clean and comfortable, but spread looked old…. maybe tiny burn marks. While uncontrollable, the second morning, the power was out, which prohibited any normal activities."

"Great stay! Hannah was AMAZING!! Her customer service over the phone and when we got to the property was top notch. Other staff were at the front desk later that afternoon checking in and the next day checking out, but we weren’t even acknowledged. Not her, she greeted us with a smile and cheerful. She could seriously give training on how to approach guests. Wonderful job Hannah!"

"The location was amazing right downtown, near shops and restaurants. Lovely building. Parking around the corner, so we dropped off luggage in the alley and one of us parked car. Outdoor stairs so use care in inclement weather. It was storming when we left fortunately I planned ahead and we only brought in backpacks so we didn't have to set anything down. The interior and exterior of the building were amazing. Elegant furniture. The ceiling in bathroom looked like it might need repair. The soaking tub and glass shower were stately.. but The handheld shower seemed to lack water pressure and didn't have a very long reach to get soap washed off. Oak floors lovely, however, there is oak in the bath and shower area that you must be diligent not to get wet. I would suggest having an extra towel just for that event. Four poster beds we're beautiful. The air conditioning in the ceiling of the living room had an occasional drip of condensation. We weren't sure how to turn off the television completely. It just stayed the screensaver which was beautiful of a painting. But if anyone wants total blackout that would be an issue. It did serve as a nice night light for us. We booked for three guests and only two sets of bath linens were provided. Since we got in late after visiting with relatives, we didn't know about this until it was too late to make a request, but fortunately we were prepared. We do plan to stay again if it's available when we're in town."
