"The apartment is exactly as described. It's new and clean. Maria cannot respond to my texts with her service, so she comes to the apartment to support. Communication therefore lagged, I would send texts and messages through VRBO and received no written responses. "This apartment was ideal for me to explore Rodrigo from. It was modern and beautiful, all appliances were new, the living space was comfortable and the host added little touches that makes all the difference to a traveler-- coffee, milk and water, along with some pastries were available for breakfast fare, soaps, first-aid and essential kitchen items were plentiful and I did not have to make special shopping trips to enjoy the basics of my stay. "Stayed mainly to break up our journey from the Portuguese coast to the Mediterranean coast, but we were very pleased we stayed in the old town and at this hotel. They were both excellent. Beautifully appointed hotel, spacious bedroom and bathroom with lots of character. Friendly and helpful staff, lovely breakfast in a beautiful dining room, unfortunately the restaurant was temporarily closed but we were able to find one within walking distance."

"We chose this for an overnight stop, with our pet furry friend, on our way from Santander to Portuguese Silver Coast. Pet friendly and self-catering appealed to us. The communication and the welcome to the lovely property, from Sandra, was exceptional. She went out of her way to show us the accommodation and walk us through the pretty village to the local restaurant, telling us a little about the place as we went. The property is immaculate and very cosy with everything you need for a short stay. We would have happily stayed longer and will certainly visit again. The staff at the restaurant were lovely too and the food was excellent and worth the little extra we paid. It's not the cheapest Portuguese restaurant but quite a surprising find in such a small village. We can recommend the steak and the bacalhau. We were very happy with our stay and will return there on our homeward journey. Thank you for the kindness and the welcome we received. "
