"The staff at Blue Palm are the absolute best and help with excellent suggestions for tours, dining, you name it. They arranged a sailing tour for me on the lagoon which was the best tour I've ever enjoyed in Mexico. The owner, Juan, informed me about the best places to visit and background info and history about the Bacalar area and the new Train Maya. The garden and pool area is restful and beautiful. The gardeners are true artists. Speaking of art, the art and decor in the hotel are unique. The included breakfast is delicious, plentiful, with many options. I highly recommend this hotel, and I will certainly return."

"So first off the Hotel was beautiful, the gardens and the lake deck was amazing. However, because of the storms that occurred while we arrived the hotel lost power. Therefore we did not stay here, the hotel manager gave us rooms at their sister hotel Casa Hormiga where we ended up staying and that was a very nice hotel with a higher quality than we thought we would get. We are very grateful to the staff of both hotels for making our stay a very pleasant experience."
