"We took a private taxi and disembark at the entrance of the hotel. Our room had 3 floor to ceiling windows that opened to a courtyard, but had double shutters for quiet. The courtyard was next to a gondola stand, and though we’ve been to Venice before, we took a gondola ride for the first time this visit. The receptionists were all very helpful, the breakfast was delicious, and we have no complaints. "

"Given that this was our first visit and we didn’t know Venice at all, I feel we were very fortunate and landed in a really special place in choosing to stay at Ca’ Vendramin Zago. It’s a beautiful historic palazzo which we found to be in the perfect location for us as it was away from the crowded locations but near to everything we wanted to visit also with some lovely discoveries in the immediate area. It was so quiet and peaceful too. The beauty of the building inside and out added to our experience and also the amazing staff who were warm, friendly and helpful. Special mention to Nicola, Alessandro and Michaela. The hotel was immaculate and we had all we needed for a very comfortable stay. I am dairy free and this was catered for. I would love to return to Venice and if we do would definitely choose to stay here again."
