"This lovely apartment in the Eastern Market neighborhood of Capitol Hill was the perfect place for a weekend getaway. The apartment was cool, clean and quiet during a hot weekend in DC. The neighborhood was amazing, with everything we needed (restaurants, shopping, the Metro, weekend outdoor market) only steps from the door. We hope to come back someday! Thank you for a great weekend!"

"It is in an excellent location to Union Station. We bought a week pass for the Metro and saw all the DC sights. We are so glad we picked The George Kimpton. Plenty of food options -- we recommend The Corner Bakery Cafe, Notra Cucina (Italian), and The Pub in the Phoenix Hotel. Hotel was very clean and safe, staff was very polite and helpful."

I would have loved to give a five star review, but a main reason for choosing this place because of the pool and hot tub, which my company and I were unable to enjoy. I called and made known that there was a rambunctious crowd at the pool all day the day I was there, up until I last checked at 8:30pm. I was told I was not the first complaint, and that security was aware of the fact that this particular group was allowing people in...

"The hotel is very clean. The soaps, shampoo and conditioner were actually ones you would use in your own home! Easy walking to the monuments and museums. We would definitely stay here again. They only down side was you have limited eating establishments within walking distance. The hotel has two restaurants, but it gets very pricey to eat at them when on an extended stay. So we went to the Safeway and bought some breakfast and lunch groceries. We had a nice vacation,"
