"There was nothing particularly fancy about it -- But nothing was wrong, either. The room was plain -- but large, comfortable beds, and a big bathroom (though also not fancy in any way). The hotel was pretty empty when we stayed and I wish they had given us a room with a window that didn't face a wall."

Phoenix Park Hotel

Phoenix Park Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"We stayed five nights for a family DC trip. The check-in was smooth and easy. Staff were friendly and helpful when I needed to have Amazon deliver a knee brace for my son. The location, being a 2-minute walk to Union Station, was a HUGE plus for us as my son couldn't walk as much as we planned. The only downside, which was nothing the hotel could control, is that the area is loud (especially if you're not from a big city). The hotel provided ear plugs. Amenities we enjoyed included: nice shampoo & conditioner, free espresso machines, and free bag-check. We'd stay here again."

"Location was perfect for attending a concert at the Anthem. The hotel was nice and room was well kept. We did get there after 4 with possible check-in time of 3 and were told our room wasn't ready. But our wait to get in was short. Staff was my pleasant and kind."
