"What a perfect location for a weekend getaway! Breathtaking views that were perfect for sitting with a cup of coffee and a good book. Property was clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for the weekend. Highly recommend!"

"The listing led us to believe that this was a secluded cabin, when it was really next to their other available cabin. There wasn't anything noted on the rental info that identified between the two cabins. We ended up walking around to the doors of the wrong cabin. There were very few towels available considering ones necessary for the hot tub. Other than that, and the eclectic dish and cup selection, it was quite peaceful and it did feel very private even with people in the neighboring cabin....

"I very much enjoyed staying at this cabin. It was clean, comfortable & close to the Shawnee National Forest & the Wine Trail. The bed & furniture were comfortable. The kitchenette allowed me to have all meals in, as it has a half-refrigerator, microwave, sink, coffeemaker, plates, glasses & mugs. The bathroom towels were luxurious & there was ample soap, shower gel, shampoo & conditioner. The heat & air-conditioning were easy to use. "We were looking for a place to view the 2024 solar eclipse and we found this cabin, which was in the path of totality! We were so excited to be able to view the eclipse from the property, which meant that we didn't have to deal with traffic getting home or to other lodging. Sherry was a great host. The cabin was quiet and clean. and just perfect for a two-night stay. "

"Great property! While there are other cabins on the property they are far enough away from each other so you have total privacy. Enjoyed sitting on the back deck and just enjoying the surroundings. "The cabin was adorable. The grounds around the pond and the cabin were all neatly mowed. Pond gave us extra excitement for our short trip as we fished. Really enjoyed our stay in this great little cabin. It didn’t bother us as we read all the amenities, but there is no stove. Just know this. There is a microwave though. Also the DIRECTV has about every station you can possibly think of to watch.Including Pay stations. This is a 9 out of 10. Super relaxing!"

"First I was surprised there was no wifi. But my daughter had wifi from her work that she brought so that worked. Couldn’t find a trash can in the kitchen. Text and called but no response. Then it was so dark in there. Not even a lightbulb in the nightstand lights. Even the bedrooms were dark. Plus there was a light over the bathroom sink. Could find a switch to make it come on. Cushions outside very worn and tattered. Other than that it was great. Nothing we couldn’t work around. Great location."

"Great, quaint cabin, that is well maintained and tastefully appointed. Setting on the covered porch looking out over the trees and pasture made me feel like I was 1000 miles from anywhere. The hobby farm next door was really cool. There were all kinds of animals on the property, many roaming free. I even saw a skulk of foxes as I pulled into the property. A quick 8 minute drive and you were in Carbondale. Very cool."

"This is a beautiful house. There are areas where repair is needed, however it did not negatively affect our stay on any way. Clean, quiet, excellent location and most of all, we were incredibly comfortable."
