Wish we could have stayed longer! Such a great experience to stay at the Old Barn and walk around the neighborhood. Loved the pub next door and our too-short visit. Recommend.

Thanks for the review and glad you enjoyed your stay. Hope you will be able to come back again.
What a great place to stay, very well organised, clean and comfortable. It is very easy to find, and despite being close to the airport we didn’t hear anything. Lovely little pub too.

Thanks for the review. Glad you enjoyed your stay.
Lovely old barn full of character. Easy to find location. Pub next door. Friendly host that was more than happy to accommodate my very short overnight stop. Had everything I needed to make the trip as comfortable as possible. Would happily stay again.

Glad you enjoyed your stay. Hope to see you again soon.
The loveliest b&b with extremely nice hosts. The room was comfortable and spacious. I used the taxi service Andy Cars to get there from my work appointment and then the following morning to get to the Cardiff airport. The local pub closed recently but Jill (one of the hosts) recommended using Deliveroo and I was able to get some good vegan Indian food. It was a very homey stay and I’m happy to have gone off the beaten path! A great visit.

The Old Barn is always my first choice of place to stay when I’m working nearby in Llandow. Cosy, comfortable and characterful (in a good way) rooms and a really pretty village location.
The only reason I wouldn’t stay here is if there wasn’t availability.

Delightful room, lots of character, with ensuite shower. All very clean. Extremely comfortable beds. Tea/coffee making facilities. TV, hairdryer. We enjoyed a lovely cooked breakfast. Parking available (very tight entrance). Would definitely stay here again.

Ok but not a 10
I picked this because of the picture, the ratings and the name. It is ok . We travel for two months every year for the last 6 years. How any one can rate this place a 10 is beyond me. I almost never give negative reviews because I don’t want to hurt someone’s business. If I’m disappointed I just keep it to myself. However I got fooled by so many people giving it a 10 so I feel obligated to inject some reality into the reviews. The town is a 10 . The pub is a 10 perhaps (it’s closed on Mondays and Tuesdays so we’ll never know for sure) The location to the airport is a 10. The breakfast is a 6 at best….most mediocre in 3 years. It is a good hostel-like accommodation with nice owners. Base on the last 50 B&B’s we’ve been to a 7/10 would be good.

We are disappointed that the Old Barn did not live up to your expectations. The accommodation is a converted 17th Century property that we have tried to maintain as many period features as possible. It was booked on a room only basis with a simple self service complimentary continental breakfast available.
Stayed overnight before an early flight from Cardiff. Perfect location 5mins drive away from airport and in a lovely village with the most amazing pub next door! Rooms are cosy and comfortable and handy kitchen area downstairs which is shared with room opposite, but it works really well. Highly recommended. Great welcome from the lovely hosts too.

Sorry to hear you were unhappy with your stay. As we usually have excellent reviews we would be grateful if you would let us know what was not to your satisfaction
We were welcomed on arrival and were able to check in early. Had a key to the B&B so there was no problem arriving late after an evening out. The room was nice and the beds were really comfy so had a fabulous night sleep. We opted for continental breakfast which was a good selection.
The converted barn was absolutely lovely and still had some of its original features. The owners are very kind and the property is extremely cute! It is located in a village and the pub is right next door. Plan ahead, the location is better to get to via car/taxi than on foot. The property was clean and the room was quite large. I would definitely recommend a visit to anyone looking for a nice quiet getaway!
Stay was pleasant. However, we had thought that the building would be slightly more detached from other buildings in a countryside setting as it was called a barn. Our room was large, clean and cosy. We slept well as it was quiet all around and nobody staying in the other room on the other side of the barn. We were asked what we wanted for breakfast and at what time. Can't comment on cooked breakfast as we didn't have it. Parking was a bit tight but just about manageable.
Really interesting 17th century building in a lovely village. Right next to Cardiff airport, but you’d never know it. Really quiet at night and I got a good night’s sleep. Friendly family run business. Had to leave extremely early on Sunday morning and Jill the owner was really kind and offered to do breakfast early. Would definitely stay again

Very convenient if you have to catch a plane from Cardiff airport. The house is pretty and has everything you need.
Jill was nice and accommodating with us.

A real gem of a B&B. A lovely converted barn with marvellous breakfast. kitchen room was available for guests to use. Very nice people too. Ideal for a visit to Barry or Airport. I had a great night's sleep. Will hope to return some day.

Lovely B & B with character. We were traveling for an event and wanted something different from a hotel. The Old Barn is full of character and was just what we needed. It's situated in a quiet village, there is a pub a few doors down although sadly we never had a chance to visit. Breakfast was laid out for us the next day. Thanks for letting us stay we would recommend.

Sehr ländlich gelegen, aber in Nähe vom Flughafen von Cardiff (ca. 5 Taxi-Minuten). Interessante Erfahrung.
Frühstück typisch englisch, aber ungesund (Weißbrot, Abgepacktes etc).
Zimmer hellhörig. Habe unfreiwillig den Nachbarn abends zwei Stunden lang zugehört.

Apologies that your stay wasn't as we would have hoped. It appears that other guests had a party and had we known would have stopped it immediately.
