"I really thought that The Reefhouse, being an Opal Resort would be much nicer than it was. It was okay - not great. The bathroom was awful - old and in need of a real update. This hotel is like any hotel at any beach - nothing special. We won't stay there again. "

"The house and views are lovely. The manager is very responsive. We had more space than anticipated. We didn’t need to use a sofa bed for the 3rd son. He instead used the downstairs level bedroom and bathroom (not internally connected). Downstairs we also enjoyed playing pool and we watched March Madness on the televisions on both floors. Upstairs we found the two bedrooms and one bathroom and open living, dining snd kitchen. The screened in porch was perfect for reading and visiting. My only suggestion is for the owner to provide directions or label the light and fan switches. I also thought more kitchen items would be helpful. I had trouble finding a sheet pan for the oven when making bacon. We would definitely stay here again. It felt very private and was quiet. Thank you for having us. "

"Had lots of amenities, coffee pods, paper towels, etc. Easy to find, great location, super clean and comfortable. We appreciated the ac being on before we got there... no need to wait to cool down. Excellent views, everything was easy."

"The place is beautiful and in a good location. The bed was very noisy, room pictures outdated, kayak and bike amenities could use some better management. "

"This is such a great find. Very well stocked with spices, paper products, some soft drinks and adult beverages, cleaning products, detergent, soaps, life vests, coolers. Cute small beach, great pool, next to Pennekamp State Park and very close to shopping and the Publix. Would definitely stay here again."

"The layout is like a resort! And the view is amazing. We really loved the setup. Well stocked kitchen. There wasn't anything we missed, including chairs we took to the state park beach. Pool is heated! Comfortable bed. I give it four stars because I was sent the wrong check-in email with no gate code, and the wrong unit. I called and was assisted. Plus the dryer and bathroom fan didn't work. But it didn't bother me enough to reach out to Mgmt. It would have been nice to have information on kayak usage. I may have missed it. Overall I would recommend!"
