It was convenient to the area. Our room was clean . The motel needs some updating. The breakfast was aweful. All carbohydrates. You should not cook the egg mixture in a plastic bowl in the microwave.. The whole area needs some TLC

My stay was really good, I would argue that some of the hotel was a little bit iffy meaning like it was kind of run down. But other than that the service was nice and the people that ran it were nice. And the rooms and bedroom were good.

The room was clean. The staff was efficient. Was a place to rest our heads while we were on a short trip in town. Other than that there were several people who were hanging around the outside of the property at all hours of the night. Was quite confusing with it being a super 8 and travel lodge on the same property.

Would stay again

The hotel was very convenient to the interstate we were traveling on. Upon check in our room had been put down as smoking and the lady at the front counter gave us a non smoking. Everyone was very nice. Its a little run down and you can tell lots of people live here full time. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Now on to the free breakfast. This is by no means a 5 star hotel, but if you're going to offer a free breakfast, at least put a little effort into it. A few slices of stale bread and a filthy waffle iron doesnt make a good breakfast. Coffee was weak and ran out. The only good thing was the orange juice. Just don't offer breakfast.

You get what you pay for

The window was plastic and not glass so when the sun hit it you can't see out. The inside of the room was reasonably clean everything else needs help and updating

First impression: The staff are very friendly and warm, very nice atmosphere in the lobby and family friendly. This review does not reflect poorly on them at all!! For breakfast: This is the first motel/hotel I’ve ever seen where they won’t allow you to take your breakfast to your room after you make it. This was a huge inconvenience as my husband has health issues and waking up and walking to go eat only happened one time the 5 days we stayed. And I couldn’t bring him his food because it was clearly posted near each food item not to take any food or water to your room from the lobby kitchen area. This also surprised me as my two young girls have been sick and I really didn’t want to have to walk them outside to go eat and cough around other people as well. In my own opinion, this is a huge inconvenience for a mother with two children and a sick husband who takes his breakfast in bed. (I am assuming the food rules are relevant to the fact that this property has a major cockroach infestation, but because there are refrigeration units and microwaves in the rooms I find this rule to be a bit unfair and unnecessary.) For the room: cockroaches, broken bath plug, toilet paper roll holder is missing/broken, floors don’t look like they’ve been mopped or swept recently(sticky, ew??), food was on the bed liner from last guest, there were dead cockroaches on the edge of the rooms, the remote was filthy, a used box of tissues was still in our room, and the bath tub had hairs in it.

Excellent value for the money

This is a very good and serviceable motel. Rooms are clean and I got cleaning services every day over the weekend. Staff are friendly and helpful; I arrived early and they made every effort to get my room ready. I come to Carlisle yearly and I will stay here the next time I come for certain. Excellent value for the money. I think some of this motel's bad reviews are because they are based on their previous location, which was very run down. Great improvement since moving to this location.

Expedia should have a quality threshold on the places it offers. The pictures online made this place appear to be very nice, but in reality it was disgusting inside the room and throughout. I had to sleep in my clothes in a towel because the bed and pillows were stained.
