Amazing room and the ocean view was great. The only thing I would change about the room is the water pressure in the shower. Other than that, the stay was perfect.

Carmel Beach Hotel was perhaps one of the favorite places I've stayed!! The rooms were lovely, clean, and comfortable, and every staff member was an absolute joy to chat with. If you need a place to stay in Carmel, I don't think you'll find something better.

Property and room were pristine. Immediately greeted at check-in by Natalie, as Rafi served my wife and I a complimentary drink during check-in. Centrally located near shops and restaurants. We will definitely return.

Like other reviewers, we found this property to be adequate and comfortable but far over priced. We realize this is typical for Carmel and we are paying for the location which is excellent, 1 block from the beach and 1 mile from downtown. We had an ocean view king room which has a great view from the balcony, but is small with an uncomfortable bed and weak shower. Aside from the free car service and cookies at turn down there are no extras included. We did not have the breakfast, use the fitness room or spa. Service and staff were fine but nothing special.

The hotel was beautiful and perfectly located. Unfortunately our room was right next to the kitchen and woke me up every day at 6am. Not how you want to start the day, especially on our Anniversary weekend!
