"I stayed here for two nights with my boyfriend and it was private and clean! We really liked it overall however the AC was broken and the bathroom door didn’t fully close. Because it wasn’t too hot when we stayed, it was okay without AC but I can imagine it getting pretty stuffy in the summer. We walked to the downtown area and the beach and it was a safe and beautiful neighborhood. Would definitely stay again!"

"Really liked the location and ease of getting into Carmel. However they advertised a lovely firepit which doesn’t look like it has been operational in a long time since there was a permanent not working sign under plexiglass and tge Caution tape had lost its yellow color. Should not show on the site as an amenity!"
"Though the check-in process initially was delayed, the staff and property itself made up for it. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the room and property was very clean and well maintained.
The location is walking distance to all the shops and restaurants as well as the beach .
The breakfast basket delivered to the room is a nice touch and helped to get us going for the early hikes we wanted to explore.
We would definitely stay here again."
"Carmel Beach Hotel was an amazing experience. The property is just beautiful, comfortable, well located, and the staff are exemplary!! The beach is steps away and perfect for morning or evening walking. The late afternoon snacks were really special. We loved the intimate lobby bar area. "The location itself is beautiful, it’s close to town and 12 minutes to Monterey. The staff were very courteous and helpful. They have coffee in the office and a food truck in the mornings. I was not able to enjoy the food truck because my schedule was packed but I am definitely looking forward to return here. I felt safe and well taken care of"
