Property was so well appointed and very chic. Complimentary breakfast was so much more than expected. Eggs, breads, salads, fresh smoothies and so much more. Everything was delicious! Staff was super friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean. Beds were comfortable. Loved drinking a glass of wine snuggled in a blanket by the outdoor fire pits. Definitely will be staying at the Stilwell again on my next trip to Carmel!

We enjoyed our stay. My two comments are that here is not enough parking and there was also a very faint odor in the bathroom, perhaps from a drain. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the bed was comfortable, the property was clean and the breakfast was good.

Amazing stay at the Stillwell Hotel! This honestly felt like one of the cleanest, most modern hotels in Carmel without the insanely high room rates you can find at some of the other properties in the area. Everything felt new, warm, cozy, and really well done. The rooms were perfect for a couples getaway, and I also saw one of the larger rooms that would be great for bringing our son back with us next time. The complimentary breakfast each morning was excellent, the fire pits were a great touch, and the entire property had such a comfortable, welcoming feel. The staff was great, parking was incredibly easy and we always found a spot, and the location could not have been better. We were right in the heart of Carmel and able to walk almost everywhere we wanted to go. It truly felt like home for the weekend. We had absolutely no complaints and will definitely be staying here again.

The property is located in a prime location. You’re in walking distance to multiple restaurants and eateries. The property itself is beautiful and modern. However, housekeeping could use some training. Upon checking into my room, there was garbage left in the room.

This was a fantastic place to stay for us on our trip to Carmel-by-the-Sea! The hotel was right in the middle of town and made walking around the area really easy. There was plenty of parking at the hotel. Staff was super friendly. The best part of our stay was the fantastic breakfast variety and oven fired pizza that was included daily! This is definitely where we’ll be staying on our future trips to Carmel or Monterey :)

Seamless check in experience, centrally located on a charming street, well sized parking lot, clean rooms and common area with fire pits to grab a wine + pizza in the evening and/or breakfast in the morning. The lobby also sells bottles of wine to hang out with.
