Just a one night stay after dropping my daughter off at Lancaster University. Carnforth is only 15-20 minutes drive from Lancaster-so was a perfect location for this. The Hotel had everything i required-easy check in-Clean spacious room-clean en-suite Bathroom and most importantly comfortable bed-with tea/coffee facility/kettle and plenty of choice. The Hotel is situated just off the main road but had an undisturbed night-mimimal noise. Parking is on street- but had no problem finding an unrestricted space-early afternoon or late evening. There is a car park at the station nearby but didnt need to use it-even on a saturday night. The staff were helpful but the stop over was very straight-forward.Perfect location for Morecambe Bay and for me Kirkby Lonsdale-which we love to go to whenever im up to see her. Carnforth has everything you need shops-petrol station etc-bonus being a coop opposite the Hotel. I would recommend this Hotel and will be returning.

Nice hotel, friendly staff. Dinner was good quality pub-grub and breakfast was excellent. Room was clean and very smart decor. Was a bit hot at night so perhaps air-con would have been nice, although there was a fan thankfully! Be aware that there is no car park at the hotel, although we got parked fine on the unrestricted side streets. Overall, nice hotel, would recommend.

The room was clean and bright. A bit noisy as it overlooked the road, but worth it to have a location sp close to the station. Staff could not be more helpful. Breakfast was fine. It was £15 for non residents, £12 for breakfasts not previously booked and £10 for residents who booked! Worth knowing! Handy Co op across the road and an excellent Booth’s supermarket very close by.

No parking on site but did manage to find on road space not to far away. Some parking on road is time limited. Reception experience differed depending on who was on duty. Breakfast was of a good standard. Linen in room was good quality and bed was comfortable. Building looking tired in places. Close to station. Nice canal walks near by with pubs just off the toe path.
