"The rooms are in the perfect location, well presented with key essentials and the manager very professional and accommodating after expedia double booked us at our first hotel the Galleon beach did not hesitate to allow us to check in earlier to ensure we weren't left without accommodation. "

A short walk (500 yards) up a steep hill from the main strip in English Harbour provides amazing views of Nelson’s dockyard near enough to walk to all the restaurants and far enough away from the noise of the nightclubs so the only sound at night are the tree frogs chirping. Annie and Roger are super friendly, helpful and welcoming. 10/10 for staff. Simple but delicious breakfast served on the large terrace overlooking the sea completes the peaceful charm of this colonial style home. The vibe is simple, friendly and homely rather than high end polished veneer and we loved it’s slightly quirky rustic charm. "

"Sitting hillside above Galleon Beach is this small but functional apartment with a view that is frankly exceptional, and a plunge pool that makes your stay enjoyable even if you spend most of the time exploring the island beaches. Arrange with Yori to have Sheppy transport meet you at the airport, make a stop at First Choice grocery for water, English Bay rum and beer, then sit back and learn about the island from one of best taxi drivers on this planet. The neighborhood is gated somewhat. The stairs up are not easy, but you will get used to them as us 70 y/os did. Travel time from airport abt 1 hour, 50US. Arrange with Sheppy for rides to other beaches. He is always on time. The roads on the island are not for the faint of heart. We are coming back. We are pretty certain you will too."

"This exceeded our expectations! It was in the perfect location, beautiful views to wake up to, and the bed was sooo comfortable. The owners went above and beyond for us, all of our luggage got lost so we didn’t have any cloths to wear, they showed up with bags of cloths for us to wear that just so happen to fit us perfectly. It was very generous of them, after this trip we now realize how much this saved us as there wasn’t a lot of cloths to purchase around the island. When we come back to Antigua we will definitely stay here again and will recommend this to anyone that comes to Antigua. There is also great snorkeling right off the beach!"

"We really love it and have stayed often. The staff are exceptionally helpful, friendly and courteous. The rooms are cleaned to a high standard and have been carefully renovated in recent times. The view of the marina is constantly changing and the location is perfect for visiting restaurants and bars in the evening. Falmouth is a great place for visiting other areas of the island. "
