"Check-in was easy & room was clean. Room is in need of some updating—paint, stained carpet, etc, but it is clean, spacious & a beautiful view. Dinner & service at The Dock was awful for the price. My shrimp was not a lime scampi, but frozen fried tough shrimp. Server was unfriendly and the food for the price was horrendous. Complete waste of money. Aldo sells better frozen shrimp I am sure. Location is beautiful & overall hotel is nice. Just don’t eat here."

"We had an amazing few days away at the Majestic Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the welcome and service we received was amazing. The friendliness of the staff was like nothing we have experienced before. Nothing was too much trouble, no matter how busy they were on a very busy St. Patrick’s Weekend. "Stay on reception and breakfast were outstanding. The restaurant and best no so accommodating some nights (kitchen is closed on a Thursday apparently and the rest the time closes pretty early too. Hotel very overpriced though. "

"The property was nice with good surroundings and quiet location. Price was pretty high for just another room. Nothing spectacular with the room or hotel. Would expect more for the price!"

"Staff were really friendly and the food was good. However the tv in the room was quite small....would have expected a bit better for the cost of the room. There was also rubbish behind the tv unit, so that obviously hadnt been cleaned very well. We also got woken multiple times in the night because of drunk people outside and then delivery lorries at 4am. Overall our stay was good but I dont think we would stay in the hotel again."
