From the moment we walked into the, it was uncomfortably hot. There is no AC in the lobby or hallways, and when we got to our room it was just as hot. The room never properly cooled down throughout the entire weekend. We even had to call maintenance to check the AC because it felt like it was not working. Although they came to look at it, the room remained very warm the entire stay. Cleanliness was a major issue. The hotel felt extremely dirty. There were cockroaches, the shower curtain was visibly filthy, the floors were dirty, and the blankets looked unwashed and smelled unpleasant, almost like mildew. It did not feel sanitary at all. Customer service was also disappointing. One older gentleman near front desk was helpful and he was kind but aside from him, the experience was not great. I had one friend stay with me for one night, and the hotel attempted to charge me extra. I had already paid for the full weekend, and the rate is based on double occupancy. When I contacted Expedia, they confirmed I should not have been charged anything additional. It felt very unprofessional and unnecessary. Overall, I had a very bad experience and would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Unfortunately, the stay did not meet even basic expectations.

Nous avons déjà séjourné à cet hôtel. Le personnel est toujours souriant, serviable et extrêmement attentionné, ce qui est apprécié chaque jour. La situation géographique de l'hôtel est idéale, à proximité de deux plages accessibles à seulement cinq minutes à pied, ainsi que de restaurants, d'épicerie et d'une pharmacie. Il est facile et économique de rejoindre le centre-ville en taxi. Sur la plage, il est possible de louer une palapa et des chaises pour environ 15 dollars. L'hôtel est propre, et les chambres sont spacieuses et parfaitement entretenues. Le seul point négatif concerne le niveau sonore et le choix de la musique autour de la piscine, ce qui est décevant, bien que les cocktails et les couchers de soleil y soient particulièrement agréables.

I just came back from Cartagena and this was my experience in this hotel. Respectfully since every person expectations are different The room was specious but very outdated, the tile on the bathroom looked like it is falling down, it had courtines but dirty, kitchen cabinet old and doors falling down. Only one night table beside the bed, pillows very uncomfortable and bed sheet very old, no blankets provided, or iron machine or blowdryer, they have to be requested and only if available you can get it since they don't have enough for all rooms. There were mini cockaroach by the bed. Bathroom mirror and sink again outdated looked like rust on it. The door to enter has a very old system to lock with a key. It looks nothing like in the pictures. The pictures were probably taken when the hotel was built. Rooftop meh. The soroundings are good 👍 but hotel, I was not impressed Amd from what you see in pictures and videos nothing like it. You cannfwr everything in this area, food, pharmacy, banks, hotels, groceries etc and close to the beach. When I arrive in Colombia, we stayed two nights at a different hotel in December and I didn't book the same hotel because we thought we may risk it if we didn't like the first stay hotel but we regret it since the experience was the opposite. But anyways, Carragena is beautiful, do your research before booking and read reviews which I may have missed on this one. Happy travels!

This appears to be a property that was converted from residential to hotel. The units themselves are very large. However, the maintenance was non existent. Nonfunctioning refrigerators, non-working air-conditioning. Service is also subpar – housekeeping only came after multiple requests. The toilet paper was rationed, as were the towels.We purchased an all-inclusive package and found the food barely edible. The rules for the “all inclusive” meant getting any drinks, including soft drinks and water - only during the hours of 11 AM to 6 PM. Otherwise you were charged even for a basic room service request. The staff were friendly and did their best but our 7 day stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. I would not return nor would I recommend it to anyone else.

We had tre rooms the ac was broken in all of the rooms, some where the fridge didn't close proper and it was by design, but it was clearly the rubber enclosure that had felt off so Ive could fix it, there was a kitchen but nothing inside it, not cubs or anything. We used some towels and of course they got a little dirty with some makeup but the full stay there was no problem. But doing checkup there was a big issue with towels and they wanted 25 mil per towel to clean it, we waited over 2 hours for the checkout due to this and was told the management would join but they newer did, in the end they said they would give us the towels in compensation, which was very low and poor service they gave compensation for a thing they made up doing check up. It seemed more like a scam to get some more money and hoping we didn't have time to wait

We booked tre rooms at this locations, in two of them the aircon didn't work we could change the fan speed or temp, no hot water and fridge that don't close fully, when we asked for more shampoo they said yes but never came with any. They offered another room but it was a downgrade and them they didn't do more. Our check out was almost two hours because they felt like some of the towels was dirty, they offered us towels to go to the beach of course they will be a little dirty and have sand. They wanted 25 mil for each to clean but didn't want to give any compensation for the two damaged rooms, they told us to wait and wait and that someone would come and talk with us but no one ever did and then we had to wait if they could wash the towels. I have been in a lot of hotels and never tried anything like this. I will never book here again or recommend it to others. If you are using this hotel go to dollar city and buy your own towels

This property is a catfish! We booked because of the overall good ratings and images of the property. When we arrived our jaws dropped it was nothing like it seemed online, the vibe is very depressing as you enter there was no one there to greet us. As we walked to the receptionist there was one person and she knew nothing of how to check someone in. She finally contacted someone and they checked us in just to be told it would be another 20 to 30 minutes before our room was ready, that’s when I really started to worry. Mind you we are frequent travelers and are fully aware that things can come up which is fully understandable. But we had traveled all morning we were tired and we had booked in advance. Finally the key manager led us up to our room and I was excited to see the ocean view from our window as shown in the picture reservation. Very disappointed to see it was facing a dumpster site with no view, then to make matters worse I inspect the room and the shower is right next to the bed, and only a glass door to the commode. No privacy at all whatsoever. The room was so hot we ran the ac never cooled down, honestly not big enough for the room size. We ended up moving the mattress to the middle of the room to get some air. We decided to check out the next day and find something more accommodating, this was not it! I kindly requested to please be refunded for the days that were not used which were 5 days and of course I was denied. Im sorry but this hotel is deceitful.

El personal es muy amable y los cuartos están cómodos, pero tuve una mala experiencia con el paquete “todo incluido” que reservé a través de Expedia. Las bebidas alcohólicas solo están disponibles en el bar de la piscina y en un horario limitado, de 11:00 a.m. a 6:00 p.m., lo cual me parece poco razonable. Además, el paquete no incluye bebidas como refrescos (sodas), lo que fue una gran decepción. En cuanto a la comida, las opciones son muy limitadas y las porciones bastante pequeñas. Durante la cena, el servicio es tipo buffet, pero si quieres más comida, solo te ofrecen acompañamientos, lo cual me parece absurdo. En resumen, no recomiendo pagar por el plan de todo incluido, ya que no vale la pena.

The view of the property so beautiful and the front desk very nice, so clean, everything close restaurant and shopping area and of course the beach at just 10 min walking but some of the kitchen staff special girls not nice make feel like they are paying for my food whispering with others when my family try to eat in peace.
