"We loved our stay at Quinta da Moita. The property looks pristine, the owner and staff are super nice and helpful. You see José’s dedication to keeping the place clean and tidy and you can see him walking around feeding the animals and treating the vines. They have a nice bar with a few options including their own award-winning wine, which we very much enjoyed. Personally it was also nice to stay in a black owned business that looks and feels amazing! Can't recommend enough!"

"We enjoyed our stay here at this beautiful hotel. The view from our room of the Douro river was amazing. The hotel staff were all very helpful and friendly. We had an absolutely delicious dinner in the hotel restaurant and the breakfast buffet was wonderful. The hotel location is perfect; the waterfront, wineries and the town are all within walking distance. A perfect stay!"

"My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. This property is beautiful, the staff are exceptional and the food is absolutely delicious. Our stay was completely faultless and I wish I had booked for longer. We also had the pleasure of enjoying a tasting which was world class in terms of information and passion of the host. "Quinta Nova is a beautiful Quinta in spectacular surroundings. It is very comfortable and the service is impeccable - probably the best welcome of any hotel I have ever stayed at. The restaurant was also excellent - with enough choice for 3 fabulous meals even though the menu didn’t change during our 3 night stay. The walking trail around the vineyards is superb and a real highlight of our stay. "

"It’s hard to put into words how beautiful, peaceful and serene this property is. We stayed here for 2 nights and I wish we could have stayed longer. Staff were very friendly, food and wine delicious, and the property was truly stunning. We spent an amazing day by the pool overlooking the gorgeous vineyard. They offer a delicious breakfast and in the evenings an amazing dinner menu. I also saw a lot of reviews complaining about the narrow roads and I feel i need to clarify for anyone worried about this - the roads were absolutely fine, there are endless spots to pull over if needed. I cannot recommend Quinta da Gricha enough to anyone looking to stay in the area. One of the most picturesque spots in the whole valley. "
