Amazing place! Very well located, The staff were very friendly and helpful. Bedroom was comfortable, clean. It has a little balcony and you can see the sea. Air conditioning available, and the room was already in a very nice temperature when we arrive. The hotel has a swimming pool in the central area, and was amazing spending time there with Nice background music. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was delicious, and amazing service. I definitely recommend.

Great location near small town square. Rooms big, beds not the most comfortable but fine in the heat. Swimming pool is a huge plus, and breakfast buffet was really great

Lovely hotel well located
Very nice hotel overlooking teh sea in Scopello. Great swinging pool, and good location in a lively small village. Staff was very helpful and all in all was a very pleasant experience. The bathroom was starting to look old and in need of refurbishment. The breakfast could be better and at least to have fresh orange juice. WE had a bad experience with teh taxi driver that the hotel booked. He fell asleep whilst driving for about 10 seconds and started to vire off the road, fortunately I woken him up and danger was averted, but it could have been a nasty accident. The hotel needs to take notice of this.

Recommended for families, 15 min walk from beach
+ : great location (15 min walk from the beach, 1 min walk to main restaurants), free & safe parking, great pool, staff is ok. - : decor a bit impersonal, classic rooms that would need an update (like in a lot of hotels in Italy). Mandatory to leave the key at front desk when you leave even for the night. The sound isolation of the rooms is not so optimal, and since we were located in the main building (the one with the reception), there was a lot of noise in the morning. I recommend it for families, not so much for couples. Also, make sure you try the Alimentari (Alimenti?) shop on your way to the beach (by foot)! The owner is awesome and serves delicious paninis.

Very nice new hotel in a small village next to one of the most beautiful beaches in Sicily. Breakfast is not that healthy cause they served mainly sweets, which were awesom. Pool is really small one. Overall great place to stay.

Beautiful Scopello
Scopello is a beautiful little town full of history. The hotel was in a great location & the team of staff were super helpful. The pool was exceptional with fabulous views of both the mountains and ocean. Easy drop off from bus & walk to National Park. Highly recommend.

Baglio Di Scopello is situated in magical place. It's in the heart of beautiful typical Sicilia village. Stunning views, great atmosphere and outstanding food. Hotel itself is in a perfect location within a walking distance to the village centre and restaurants. It has a nice pool and spacious clean rooms with wifi. Air-conditioning is working superbly well. Staff is very helpful and speaking English.

I liked the proximity to the village. The outdoor pool had lots of sediment and leaves etc. on our first day staying there, a Sunday. It didnt look well maintained nor did the carpark with weeds growing in the parking bays. The breakfast was basic with bad coffee. To top it off the luggage transfer arranged by the hotel did not happen so we had to get the next hotel to bring our luggage 5 hours after we checked in after a long cycle.

We are sorry that you did not find yourself completely well. Unfortunately the pool was full of weeds because the previous evening there was a lot of wind and on Sunday the pool attendant couldn't work at the hotel because he was sick. As for the luggage transfer, I'm sorry to contradict you, but maybe you should have asked me in time that you needed a luggage transfer and not when you were already at the hotel. I would have arranged the service to the fullest! Although you told me at the last minute I managed to organize the transfer. If the luggage arrived late it was certainly not our fault but the courier.

Great hotel
Scopello is an amazing location. Hotel is central very comfortable. Pamela at reception is great very welcoming and knowledgable of the area and the surroundings. She even offered us a free parasol for the beach as we were so pale... breakfast is ample . hotel entrance can do with some weeding up and make it nicer. All in all a good hotel, given it is only a 3 star.

My husband and I booked and stayed at Hotel Baglio di Scopello, May 5-7, 2018. We chose the hotel based on the fact that it had a swimming pool and air-conditioning in all rooms. On our arrival the pool was not in working order and there was no air-conditioning in the room. We got no sleep the night of the 5th due to the room being a sweat box of heat and humidity. On the 6th, I asked at the front desk and was informed that the air-conditioning was not available in our room because the hotel management had not yet switched it on. I was assured that it could be switched on and that we would be able to avail of it the night of the 6th. When we came back from dinner and asked again at the front desk re the air-conditioning being on, we were told that the hotel still had not switched it on yet and that we again would not have air-conditioning in our hotel room for the night. We asked to speak to the manager and were told that he was not present but we would be able to speak to the manager in the morning before we checked out. Of course there was no manager available to speak to in the morning. When we returned from our holiday, I emailed the hotel and they didn't see fit to respond to my email.

Nice hotel in a pleasant little village.
Hotel is good and staff very helpful. Rooms fairly plain but ok always kept clean and tidy. Breakfast, good choice and can be taken on the patio which is shaded in the morning. Pool good. A very nice little village close to the sea good views and several good restaurants.

We had an amazing stay here. Ourselves and several guests stayed here for our wedding during the month of May. The staff perfectly accommodated our requests and provided excellent service. The pool in the hotel was lovely and the breakfast was delicious. Highly recommended.

Lovely pool. Many unique fine restaurants to walk to. Parking at door of hotel. Rooms are new construction, chic, and hotel feels spacious. Design of pool is very unique and pleasing. Generous breakfast with unlimited choices. Very relaxing comforting accommodation!!

Hotel was in nice area in Scopello . The staff at the reception desk was helpfull and friendly. We got all the necessary information about the best beach near hotel . All their recomandation about restaurants were excellent . Room clean and vaste . Well equipped .

Great location at the center of a beautiful town, with wonderful restaurants and souvenir shops nearby. Beaches are a short drive away. Good breakfast buffet. High-quality bathroom hardware.

A pleasant well-appointed hotel
Apart from the booking process (had confirmed paid bookings for Baglio Zingaro which the hotel inexplicably cancelled which as far as I can make out does not accept Amex or Visa but apparently does accept Mastercard), all was fine. When we got there Baglio di Scopello was apparently closed and we were allocated to the Baglio Zingaro (where I had booked originally and had been cancelled). It was next door. Reasonably priced, excellent breakfast, very helpful reception staff, comfortable room and bed, many TV channels (many muslim/islamic ones) and eventually got BBC news on channel 1313!!!! The location was good and the two Baglios have their own parking area. It is one block away from the village centre, which has virtually all you could want, including a good range of restaurants. There is a well maintained swimming pool. The decor is pretty stylish and refers to Sicilian tiles, ceramics and glazed-ware, and is well thought out.

Lovely Scopello
The hotel was simply but nicely furnished. Bed very comfortable and air conditioning good. Very friendly staff who spoke english. Breakfast adequate. Location very good as on edge of lovely hill village. Sea within walking distance.

This is not a hotel, it is a motel.
The charges for this motel are reasonable. However, having booked and paid for 1 week we arrived to discover we had no balcony or terrace with our room (all the pictures have balconies). A week is a long time with no seating area or anywhere to dry one's towels etc. We asked to be moved and were told the hotel was full. Actually I don't think the receptionist could be bothered, she was fairly joyless. There was no soul to the place and the pool closed when there were high winds. A night or two would be fine. The village itself is FAB.

Super nice place, very comfortable, quiet area and beautiful site. Reception were v ery friendly and helped us to come from the right side. Only inconvebience is that you can't drive through the little town ( 20m) so must arrive from other side to the hotel.

Posizione perfetta, vicino al centro storico, con parcheggio. Buona colazione. Note negative. Stanza N.220 adiacente ad un motore rumorosissimo, che non permetteva il riposo. Andando via, lo abbaiamo fatto presente alla Reception. Dalle foto sembra una piscina grande, ma le dimensioni sono ridotte e lo stato non eccezionale.

non ci siamo trovati bene
L unica cosa positiva è stata la posizione dell hotel, è molto vicino alla tonnara di Scopello, raggiungibile a piedi . Avevamo richiesto una camera con letto matrimoniale , invece abbiamo soggiornato in camera con letti singoli , non potevano cambiarci Camera poiché L hotel era pieno, Le lenzuola le abbiamo dovute cambiare noi perché la signora delle pulizie non c era , Il bagno era pieno di capelli in terra e non aveva il servizio di bidet .

La struttura è di recente costruzione, ambiente confortevole, la proprietaria disponibilissima alle nostre richieste e esigenze, così come anche il personale. Posto molto tranquillo,abbiamo trascorso un weekend sereno in una località stupenda a pochi passi dal baglio di scopello e vicino al mare.
