We did not find anything interesting in the restaurant menu, and the area is a bit isolated and not many eating options available without a bus/taxi ride. "Do not arrive before 2pm. We arrived at 1:40 and needed to wait until the door was unlocked. The room was clean and the 2 staff members were pleasant. The elevator does not work and we needed to walk up 3 flights. I would not recommend this hotel if you have any mobility issues. The airport shuttle was a taxi that cost 30 euros. They did order the taxi for us. The hotel is located close to a park and the central part of Catania so the location is perfect if you are interested in exploring. The bed was clean and the pillows were comfortable. We were told to not open the doors because of mosquitos. If you are interested in a clean, no frills hotel room, this is a good choice. I picked this because if “airport shuttle”. That was not accurate, since we needed to pay for a taxi. We could have ordered an uber in our own."

"We loved this hotel. We were made to feel so welcomed at reception and shown to a beautiful room. In the evening we had drinks on the beautiful patio. We had an early morning flight and the front desk person made caupicinos for us while we waited for our airport taxi. He also provided us with a to go breakfast. How kind and thoughtful."

"Beautiful hotel in the very heart of the city. We were able to walk to restaurants, ancient ruins, shopping and other area attractions. Great location. The hotel I think used to be a very glamorous home, lots of marble and great architectural features. The staff was absolutely incredible and the room was spotless. We will definitely go back there again!"

"A great place if you are looking at staying somewhere close to the airport for convenience reasons. But it smells a little weird in the entire place and you have to walk a couple of blocks to the only restaurant we could find. There might be others, but we got in late around 22:00 and there didn’t seem to be a lot open. The restaurant we found was great and the pizza was amazing!"

"A warm welcome from the amazingly helpful Roberta. Upgraded to a suite - v comfortable, excellent bed, and once I turned off the intrusive a/c a good night's sleep. Great breakfast, excellent coffee. A wonderful location too -- right where you want to be, and excellenr, affordable restos nearby. Just 15-20 mins from airport and amazingly helpful, thoughtful front desk. Don't rush off from the airport - spend a couple of days here getting to know Catania first."
