"My parents are buried in Horning, so Norfolk has lots of memories. I decided I wanted to celebrate my 60th in Winterton on Sea. We’ve stayed in various cottages in the area, but Larner’s Lodge was by far the best bungalow. We had to stay in the Fisherman’s Return on our first night, so took a sneaky peak at the outside of Larner’s Lodge later that day. Situated down a private driveway, set in a very pleasant location. The bungalow was clean, spacious the perfect place to stay for my 60th....

Location is great for getting to family-friendly attractions (e.g. Bewilderwood). Warm, comfy, finished to a high standard, excellent bathrooms. Our son enjoyed the box of Lego. "Everything was great - apart from kitchen facilities which were sparse. Comfortable seating... great beds... excellent shower... good tv reception etc. BUT oven shelving needs attention and couldn't get 2 of the gas rings to work. So it's a great place to stay for the city - just don't plan to do much cooking!"

"The property is in a good location close to shops and pubs. It was good to be all on one level especilly as we had two dogs with us. It has a good sized garden. The Property Management Company were very quick to answer any questions we had."

"Everything we wanted and needed. 8 ladies celebrating a 60th Birthday. The barn is spacious, comfortable and homely. Perfect for a get together. The host was lovely and was willing to help and share her knowledge. There are clear instructions on how thiings work and dos and donts, which were useful. Absolutely no complaints at all. "We enjoyed our stay and the property was in a good location for us, a short walk from the beach and Bus stops so we didn't need to worry about finding parking. Our only problem was that the stairs are quite steep and, being retired and not in the best of health, my husband struggled with that."

"Host was most helpful and accommodating. The room had excellent facilities, especially the shower. Only one gripe was the firm mattress which is probably good for most people but not what I'm used to. The location was excellent and central to some m ce walks and places to eat."

"We booked all of the cottages they were beautiful, very clean and amazing. The gardens were very secure so the small grandchildren where very safe which gave us peace of mind. The games room was good for all especially the Big Kids !! We will be going back and would recommend Fielding Cottages and the Goat Shed to all. Shop and cafe were also amazing"
