"Lovely old building in the heart of the French Quarter, very close to shops and restaurants. The balcony overlooking a quiet side street was a real plus. Clean, comfortable room and helpful staff. There's no lift, so I wouldn't recommend it if you have trouble walking or you have a lot of luggage."

"Loved this little gem! Great location and so charming. A tiny negative was the smell in the room - nothing overly offensive; just typical of older hotels in a very humid environment. Other than that, it was just lovely, and the staff - particularly Tina - were very friendly and helpful. "

"The room was very clean and the housekeeping crew made it look like new each day. The staff was friendly and helpful. The area around the hotel is a bit sketchy...homeless people and the smell of marijuana. But, hey, the French Quarter has a lot of that all through it."
