If it's your first time travelling during COVID-19, you'll notice a few more regulations and rules in place. Take note of these tips and make your journey to Cayo Bolivar a smooth one:

• Investigate if any travel restrictions apply to your origin and destination before committing to a flight. Also check if there are any special conditions you'll need to follow on arrival, such as testing and quarantining.
• Wear a face mask even during airport screening. A TSA employee will ask you to adjust your mask for ID purposes.
• Instead of handing a TSA agent your boarding pass, place it directly on the reader yourself. Then, hold it up for inspection.
• You can now take one container of hand sanitizer up to 12 oz (350 ml) in your carry-on luggage. This will need to be removed for X-ray screening.
• Empty your personal items from your pockets, like your wallet, coins and keys, and place them in your carry-on rather than the bins. This will minimize handling during screening.
• Separate any food you have for X-ray screening. Food items often trigger the alarm. Putting them in a clear plastic bag and into a bin reduces the need for a TSA officer to handle and inspect your belongings.
