"This place was great and we will likely be back to stay here! We loved the location, access, cleanliness, comfortable beds, and overall vibe. We loved the trails and the creek below the house as well as the seating around the fire pit. We sat out there and watched deer travel through the woods a few times. I think most people would be very happy with their stay here at Happy Beara. That said, there are a few things travelers should be aware of. This place is pretty bare bones when it comes to being equipped/stocked. Don't expect to find the extra little amenities like soap, coffee pods, games, or even extra pillows and blankets like we've always found at most other rentals. Just bring all your own stuff.Secondly, there wasn't enough hot water to fill the bathtub or for two people to take a shower back to back. Finally, the hallway upstairs is very dark at night so you might want to be aware or pack a nightlight if you have to get up in the middle of the night without turning on the lights. I'd hate for someone to fall down those stairs."

"We had an absolutely amazing week at the Hideaway! The house was comfortable, cozy, and had a phenomenal view! Even though the square footage is small the cabin has plenty of room for the two of us and four would be comfortable as well. The property was exactly as described with several nice little extras to make visitors comfortable. The owner answered every question (and we had a bunch) and assisted us when we needed some help with a forgotten item."

"The only slight negative was the jets within the hot tub, very little force. The tub was very warm and inviting, we used it each day of our stay.Overall, I cannot say enough about the communication with the owner! Huge positive. Value was excellent. Location was almost ideal.Would highly recommend!"

"We had a wonderful stay here. The large cabin is rustic-chic, with everything you could possibly want or need for a great family time. The kitchen is large and very well equipped. We found the beds super comfortable. The master bath has a large beautiful tub. There is a large number of board games available and a large table to gather round for game play. An added plus is its location convenient to a number of outdoor activities. "

"First my main thing was it was not worth the . I’ve stayed in much nicer for less. The cabin was nice. The hill is too steep to go to the water. There weren’t many working lights for downstairs. The batteries were dead in the remotes, so we had to go buy some. Definitely needs new washer and dryer. "
