"Having previously stayed at the Pendry Baltimore, we arrived at the Pendry DC at the Wharf with high expectations. Unfortunately, the DC location felt like a step down in comparison — and this was despite having booked upgraded rooms in Baltimore. The standard king room was small and poorly laid out. A narrow hallway near the bathroom created an awkward situation where the closet and bathroom doors couldn’t both be open at the same time, and two people could barely pass each other. The in-room coffee maker was broken, though the hotel did offer coffee in the lobby as an alternative. Most disruptively, we were jolted awake in the middle of the night by a loud, unusual noise — a rushing, gushing sound from what seemed to be a pipe — that lasted roughly 10 minutes and left us both unable to sleep. The staff was pleasant enough, but lacked the warmth and attentiveness we’ve come to expect from Four Seasons properties and our previous Pendry experience. On the bright side, the shower was exceptional and the location at the Wharf is hard to beat. That said, we’ll likely explore other options on our next visit to the area."

"Two issues: hot water was not all that hot and the building fire alarm was having issues - it went off a 1AM when I was staying and the strobe light in my bathroom didn’t stop flashing until 8 AM. Fortunately maintenance disconnected the strobe in my room so I could sleep. I overheard the fire department say this was the 25th time they had been called to the property in 2026 on false alarms. This needs resolved "

"Fantastic staff! Great amenities for a smaller hotel. The only thing that was a negative was it’s a bit of a dangerous area (Navy Yard) and lots of huge rats in the neighborhood!! "
