"Check in was quick and easy, the room was clean but there was very little space and no coat hooks or hooks for towels in bathroom. The beds were uncomfortable (seemed old) and the single bed was very squeaky and made lots of noise every time my son moved. The hotel is dog friendly but costs an extra £10 per night. There was very little space for our dogs bed. The room was also very warm. The carpet on the stairs looked like it had not been hoovered in a long time. "

"An excellent lodge with stunning views and a fantastic hot tub that could be used even in the coldest weather.The lodge was functional, with all that is required for day to day living. I felt the lighting in the lounge and kitchen could be more homely and have given the landlady some suggestions to this effect. Altogether, highly recommended and I hope to return again soon."

"We had an amazing time for Christmas at Meadowcroft. The welcome pack was great. The location was perfect for a quiet getaway! Local shops around 20 minute drive away so you have to plan your week accordingly. We visited local dams and towns. The hot tub was perfect and we saw lots of sheep! Will definitely visit again we had the best time with our little family for a quiet Christmas. Thank you for having us"
