La Bahia Hotel and Spa

"We only stayed here for one night, but our stay was very nice. We loved all the complimentary items that they left for us in the room. It was very nice to see sweets and wine on the counter and know that we wouldn't be charged a fortune for these items if we wished to eat/drink them. The only problem we had was with their in room phone service. We tried to order food to our room, but kept getting a busy signal, and then a recording saying this line was not in use. We would have liked to order room service so we could eat looking out at the ocean. Ended up going down to the restaurant. Oh well."

"The property was very clean and very aesthetic. I really liked the look and feel and design of the room and rest of the property. Location was excellent too. It’s close to the cannery row and also has a lot of restaurants and cafes just walking distance. The hotel had an extra charge for the car parking which was not disclosed at the time of booking. It will be good to let customers know beforehand that parking is not free."

"I liked the closeness to the beach. The staff at check in was friendly and helpful. I wish we had known before hand that construction was going on, parking was at a premium. The wallpaper in bathroom was peeling and the shower would drip continuously. Both were reported to front office at check out."

"We actually had a great stay. My only complaint was that at ages 76 and 87, they had us stay on the 3rd floor with us having g to navigate at least 2 set of stairs. Their didnt seem to have any feeling for this. Otherwise we had a great stay."
